NiGHTS sings for you

anyway, I was no joking about the tittle guys, actually, I've found a quite insteresting program called "Ghost FLELE" tis a ghost mp3 player that...well, how should I exlain it? just imagine a little fella singing your favorite song while invading your screen! well I'll get to the point. The thing is that I managed to make my own Flele Shells!
Download Flele here >>> MegaUpload the program already includes the NiGHTS shells, also, its a portable program so you wont need to install it, so dont worry
there are only two requirements for the Flele to work properly:
* Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista
* Asian languaje package installed (if you dont have it then you can install it using your windows installation CD)
Installing:
1: Create a new folder called Flele onto your desktop. it'll help avoid confusion
2: now doubleclick on your Flele folder, then double click on the folder in there called FLELE then double click on the application called SSP it's looks like a pink bow with a cat bell
3: ok now FLELE should be running. let's make it english! (thou it is supposed to already be programmed in english) right click on either the character that popped up or the white circular icon in your toolbar, then choose language and make it english! then right click again and choose the last choice on the bottom.. it'll close the program. now reopen it and the right click menu should be in english! yays!
4: now we're gonna make it so it'll stay ontop of all your windows. right click again and go to options then make sure always show foreground has a checkmark ifit doesn't click it. and voila!
Preview of NiGHTS, Reala, and Jackle shells
The Shell and Songs:
Now that you opened you opened your flele...Im pretty sure the first thing you will see (if you've acomplished the requirements) will be Reala, if you want to change him, just second click, select Shells, and there NiGHTS and Jackle's among the other shell's names will appear, to make your flele sing, just grab an Mp3 file and give it to the flele, it will ask you if you want to play it, then click "PLAY"
troubleshooting:
* be sure your files are in MP3 format, the flele wont play any other king of sound format
* be sure that your songs dont have any kanji characters, the flele doesn't like to play songs with funny characters/names, so watch out for your song's names
* your files must not be in a folder that its inside another folder
Petting:
that's right, you can also pet your flele! just hover and click the mouse over the flele's head, do it carefully and see what happens!
well, I hope you enjoy your little maren singing for you!
EDIT1: thanks Kentilan, I didn't know the link wasn't working until now
EDIT2: oh, and if you want your little FLELE to be present on the screen all the time, just open the menu, go to Options > Always show Foreground, and ta-dah!
EDIT3: The RapidShare link has expired, now I've moved the archive to Megaupload

well you can always try to find the Asian package by googling it
Yeah, the link is incorrect. Try this one.
The characters are really nice. Did you draw them yourself?
oh yeah... I should haven't typed the "html" thing, thanks Kentilan
that's right, they were made using photoshop CS3 ...it wasn't easy, for that I had to draw every movement into a single layer, and use coordinates so they wont look out of place *faints*

I do have a bit of a question, if you don't mind!
I've followed your directions, and the Flele works wonderfully -- but I can't seem to get any of them to play my Mp3s.
I've checked to make sure that they weren't inside a 'tiered' folder (folder in a folder). And my computer was never fond of Kanji in filenames, so that's not it either...
I'm trying to figure out if it's the Mp3's ID3 tags that are confusing it, but I'm not sure... I've been in the preferences menu a few times already, but I can't seem to find any options for it.
This is awesome! Thanks!

I must say Rachell, your art is wonderful. And I'm a big fan of your signature image?

This is really well done! I've hoped for a NiGHTS desktop buddy for ages -- and the characters are so cute I could cry.

1)well, have you tried to put the folder where your mp3 are in your deskopt?
2) make sure that the song doesn't have any kind of weird characters aside from Kanji characters, like "@,%$?'^+*~-" maybe they're also cause that the flele doesn't play the songs
glad to help, and Im happy that all of you liked it c:

When I clicked the link it showed me this:
This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.
This limit is reached.
To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.

Edit- Actually, I have a question. I didn't read all of your instructions and I never clicked and dragged any music over to the Flele. I played something off of iTunes to test it out once I downloaded it because I'd assumed that the character sings to whatever's playing, and it worked. I don't recall what I was playing on my iTunes, but it was singing along without me doing anything but opening the program. Now it won't do that-
so tl;dr, can you get it to sing songs you play on whatever music program you have running?
Edit again- So I've been trying to look it up, and there's absolutely no reason for it to have been doing the singing animations, since it says it can't be integrated to other music programs. I guess it glitched or something because it hasn't done it since. Now I have to feed it the music.

well if its causing problems, you could delete and try to re-install now following the instructions, the program is still a bit in development so without the requirements its normal that the flele stars to act weird, I know, I had problems when I first installed it too :/
however, you can always change the flele's animation by pressing Ctrl + T, if you press number 0, the flele wont do nothing, and if you press 25 the flele will start singing even without music playing
