Have you guess ever dreamed that you were in a bad situation where you just woke up and just got piss and could of done something or got scared and didn't do anything. It is possiable because it is our mind and we control our dreams and we can solve the problem. You won't believe this but it may sound a little kiddie but i ll tell it anyways. I dreamed that a huge Metor was going to crash right at earth ending the world knowing i was scared but i started to realize i could do something cause it did not feel right so i felt like i can do anything. What i did was turn into Wargreymon and destoryed the Metor haha. YEah kind of Kiddie now don't u think haha. but yeah it is possible to control your dreams.

If you're talking about trying to find a way to actually do something in the dream, that's lucid dreaming. Here are a couple lucid dreaming topics.

Getting Lucid by NNR07: http://www.nightsintodreams.com/forum//ind...p?showtopic=177

Variety of Lucidity by Loren: http://www.nightsintodreams.com/forum//ind...p?showtopic=164

I think some people have mentioned lots of techniques and different types of Lucid dreaming. Check them out and maybe you'll have some answers to your questions or even some tips. ^^ If you're talking about controlling what you actually dream about, I'm not sure about that...

As long as we're being kiddie I saw an episode of Blue's Clues about lucid dreaming, and it said you could change what you dream about.

It's easy once you realize there's nothing to it. The hard part is remembering.

I do that every time I go into Lucid dreaming.
I just concentrate on what I really want to happen and then it.........just.........does. I don't know how to explain it, but it's really cool.

Unfortunately, my dreams only last a few seconds and look like they're going into "Hyper Mode" or something. I mean, I still get all the info from the dream, it's just more compacted I guess.

Maybe it's due to my excessive and speed up thinking rate. Hrrrrmmmm ^_^

Try concentrating on having a longer dream.

I had this annoying dream in where I posted a strange letter on a Anime forum that upset a lot of people and I got a lot of haie mail, I was afraid to post anything at all on that forum so I asked the owner to get rid of my account and they did. I am always very wary when in forums. :(

i like having longer dreams. if wake up i can sometimes continue it if i want to. Just have to think of it in my mind. Sometime i dont want to be wake when my dream wasnt finish then i get mad. So i go back to sleep.

I love doing that, they're usually interesting dreams and it's super-easy to make them lucid.

If by "control" you mean "wake up" then sure. Happens once in a blue moon.

I know a couple of people who continue a dream after waking up. It’s not hard really, though it’s easier to do when your still tired.

Ironically enough, I exert more control over nightmares than I do in dreams. Whenever I get a nightmare, the things that are most displeasing to me help me realize that I'm in a nightmare. Sort of like a lucid nightmare, for lack of a better term.

Nightmares have almost always made me gain control of my dream. As a child, I would usually realize I was dreaming when things went bad and involved creatures that aren't real. I found out how to wake myself up by forcing my eyelids open because I was so desperately scared of them. Now, I try not to do that unless it's getting really bad. I try to take control to escape/beat the bad guy(s) first. Most the time, it works.
