I think some people have mentioned lots of techniques and different types of Lucid dreaming. Check them out and maybe you'll have some answers to your questions or even some tips. ^^ If you're talking about controlling what you actually dream about, I'm not sure about that...

hmm maybe i will check those out but not sure of how do u control your dreams i mean it is your mind, and my bro always controls his dream. everytime things turn bad for him he can turn things around. Dont know how but i tryed it myself hmm...If you're talking about trying to find a way to actually do something in the dream, that's lucid dreaming. Here are a couple lucid dreaming topics.

I just concentrate on what I really want to happen and then it.........just.........does. I don't know how to explain it, but it's really cool.
Unfortunately, my dreams only last a few seconds and look like they're going into "Hyper Mode" or something. I mean, I still get all the info from the dream, it's just more compacted I guess.
Maybe it's due to my excessive and speed up thinking rate. Hrrrrmmmm

i like having longer dreams. if wake up i can sometimes continue it if i want to. Just have to think of it in my mind. Sometime i dont want to be wake when my dream wasnt finish then i get mad. So i go back to sleep.
I know a couple of people who continue a dream after waking up. It’s not hard really, though it’s easier to do when your still tired.
