Visit Sega's page for a new trailer featuring absolutely no gameplay whatsoever! But! it has pretty FMV footage (intro FMV maybe?) and shows the humor that will be throughout the game. Can be found here:

Anyone know if you can use a classic controller? Because if you can, I would so buy one just for this.

I never played Samba before but I think I get the gist of how it plays...
not allota ways Sega can screw this up... (but don't loose hope they might think of something )
Really the only think I worry about is the responsiveness of the wii remotes, which for the record is really good, but there are still games that seem to be faulty there non-the-less...

but a lot of times the sensor doesn't pick up my Wiimote movements...sad.gif
Dang it why do I always have to be right about this stuff!?It almost seems like certain parts of songs become less responsive than other parts. Like, around the 3rd verse of Mambo Number Five on Hard, the right up spot almost never picks up anything. D:

and wasn't there a rumor that Dreams Dreams was showing up too? I guess that was pretty much busted!

It seems you are correct. When I heard nearly all the original songs were going to be in Samba De Awiigo, I figured that included the 'downloadable content' from Samba De Amigo and Ver. 2000. Hopefully that means Sega will release a pack including all of those! I can't live without 'Open Your Heart', 'It Doesn't Matter', and 'Dreams Dreams'.and wasn't there a rumor that Dreams Dreams was showing up too? I guess that was pretty much busted!

Honestly, this is a masterpiece of video games, up there with NiGHTS and Kirby Super Star!
So, for those who have it, some questions.
What's your favorite song to listen to? Mine's either Jump in the Line (lolol Beatlejuice), Groove is in the Heart (yay Ulala) or Borriquito (Does she say "Flamenco Disco"?).
What's your favorite to play? Mine is Borriquito.
What are you best at? For me, it's Samba de Amigo- 100% in Super Hard mode! Woohoo!
Least favorite song? I don't have one!
Any Problems? I can't do the "both to one lower side" pose. odd.
More games need hyper Mexican monkeys. They just do. *nods*
Your thoughts?

Hard mode Mexican Flyer and Mamba Number 5 is a jerk to 100%, and during career, Mexican flyer was really annoying. D:

To me it's a fairly solid game the controls are responsive (most of the time) and the songs are great... but that's about it...
Here's my review...
This game is colorful... REALLY colorful... and I love the goofy yet creative characters, they reminded me of Sega's golden days... when we didn't get crap like Silver and Big the Cat (does Big even HAVE any fans?) anyhoo, jus seein the characters was a treat for me... and don't worry... Rio stops looking like a cross-dresser when you start playing the game... a lil... in fact they are such great characters in terms of appearance an personality (you kinda see it in gameplay) that I would say they needed their own story in career mode... if that is Sega wasn't in the pits atm... also the game plays pretty smoothly posing is simple and you can shake the wii remote with little fear of bringing it too high or too low, but alas this was made by Sega and thus has its drawbacks... first the nunchuk tends to goof off on you bouncing between high and low when you try to hit a note, in fact I had a problem a couple times where I would need to shake rapidly but it would for some reason get stuck at top no matter how far I pointed down this was remedied by holding the nunchuk still for about 1 sec. (2 secs for tryin to figure out whats going on + 1 sec for holding the nunchuk still = BOO!!) *I mentioned before I like the characters? I also like the backgrounds but after seein the same one over and over? it gets kinda dull (sick of getting an A and ending up in that Trippy stoner world)... especially since the characters do the same action continuously amiga hops in circles, rio spins a trumpet on his finger while walking back and forth, linda shakes her arse (no complaints ) and walks back and forth and so on... and when you finish Career? not much to do.... cept try ta beat your scores... but not alot motivates you to do so... you can't even compare on leader boards! so unless you and 1000+ ppl share the same console why bother? I haven't done any multiplayer yet but I assume its fairly solid. and nothin beats playing to this games music btw its all good imo so its great to jam into while you play.... but don't do so too much or you'll throw off your "beat"
downloadable content is cool... but I'd rather not pay 5 bucks seeing as I can play Disgaea 3 and download new killing machines into my army for free... when they release em
In the end a solid game that still feels abit like it belongs in the bargan ben for playtime... BUT it still beats the crap outta alot of Sega's recent titles.
btw Sonic appears in it... woop-di-do... he doesn't even dance well...

* raises hand shyly* I like Big! (his -bleeping- fishing levels are irritating, though)
Rio is a cross dresser (though I love him). Have you not seen "his" lipstick?
Stoner world is fun. Winners don't do drugs
Five bucks is not too bad, but three songs? It's crazy.
Am I the only one who found this game super awsome fasanastic? sigh
Dance Sonic! Vogue! Let your body move to the music! (Sorry, the how to play thing makes me think of Madonna- strike a pose, let your body move to the music, etc...)
