I don't know how many people know this (i didn't) but on youtube there's a trick to watch all the videos in high quality (not HDD but still much better). That's provided the original file uploaded was good quality.
Go to the video you want, add this to the end of the url and hit return:
&fmt=18
Tadah! Awesomesauce.

Heh, it's kinda nice that YouTube now recognizes that some people have better internet connections. There's an easier way to do this so it sticks and you don't have to do it manually every time.
Log in to your YouTube account, and under the Account menu at the top right, select "more...". Go down to the bottom of the right column, where it says "Video Playback Quality" and click. Now you get 3 choices, and obviously you want "I have a fast connection. Always play higher-quality video when it's available." Done!
I can't wait until they start allowing for HD content...if GameTrailers and others can do it then I'm sure YouTube isn't too far behind...
EDIT:Anyone else notice if YouTube's been really sluggish lately? It's pretty bad for me over here.

Like TRAViS said, if you have an account you can choose to always play videos in high quality.
Seems like Youtube has updated part of it's look, I remember the bar beneath the video looking more... blocky? Not as smooth? Might be what's causing the slow loading.

Hey this is awesome! I had an account but never noticed the option to turn on high quality before.
I approve lots! I am surprised they could do such a thing what with the already astronomical bandwidth cost I imagine they pay.

It's a new version of the youtube player that's supposed to be more streamlined and optimized for better video playback.
