The Glorious JoD DVD

Case and Disc Art
(probably would have been nicer if the disc itself wasn't turned funky when I scanned it.... oh well)
There's only one video on it, contrary to what our Nintendo Representative told me (the damn liar > ). But I don't think its something we've seen before. It's an 8-minute video about converting NiGHTS from the classic on the Saturn that we love oh-so-much to the wonderful sequel that we all wait for with baited breath. There are interviews in the video with Takashi Iizuka and the staff that helped this long-awaited sequel a reality. Thank you SEGA ^.^
It makes me laugh that every time they say "Wizeman" they show Reala. Silly video makers. ^.^
A sweet thing they mention is that the "My Dream" portion was made based entirely off of fan feedback.
The YouTube Upload isn't too great, but I plan to send in the 720x480 HD version in to TRiPPY and DiGi. Anyone know how I can do that with a 280MB file? Yeah, It's a big 'un, but I like my NiGHTS vids to be in HD.
THERE ARE NO SPOILERS. (DiGi Told me to mention it ^.^)
And now, Without further ado....
The Video of Awesome!

Neato, thanks Xenon! Is it just this video on the disc, or are there other goodies as well?

Oooo. The video is actually pretty nice... you can see them putting together the models (NiGHTS with mask!), and a couple of short clips we haven't seen before.

Sadly, this was the only goodie to speak of. I had been told that there were quite a few things on it by our Nintendo Representative when she visited our store, but everything she "knew" was tentative information. The one thing I can think of would be that there is Wii-specific footage or demos (NO PROMISES). This would make sense since the game is Wii-exclusive and Wii content cannot be read on a standard DVD drive. Though I'm not holding out too much hope for any additional footage. I just can't imagine that they would do that.
TRAViS or someone else with a Wii and this DVD, please look into that?

EDIT: This just intrigued me... Oo' I wish I knew what they were saying (and I wish I got a better screenshot)...
And AGAIN they infer that Reala's Wizeman!!!! XDDDD Oh, and here's a cool-looking shade of blue...

Oh, well, at least they showed some of the model building that they did as well as give a nice recap to what we already knew. I love all the attention that the game seems to be getting from its developers.

Hey, check at 3:00. Is that a new level I spy, or a different part of one we've seen already?

Also, did you see how much concept art they had for JoD?
Artbook this time, Sega. Artbook.

Yeah, I would think that they wouldn't want to ruin the final boss for all the new players that the game is sure to get. I can only imagine that was why they showed Reala when they mentioned Wizeman. Plus the fans that have played/know the original will be able to remember who Wizeman was just from the sight of Reala. Also fans that have (possibly) forgotten about Wizeman (BLASPHEMY) will have thier memories jogged at the sight of a Reala screencap. And yes. Artbook would be lovely. ^.^
@Purgatory-
I think that they just started shipping them out from corporate yesterday. It may take a little time for Loren's store to get 'em.
@Kraken-
Jung psychology is actually very interesting. We spent quite some time on it in my philosophy class last year. You may end up enjoying your read!
@CrazyInABottle-
I think that is a portion of one we've seen... I just can't seem to recall which one at the moment. *thinks hard* *head explodes* *zombie noises*
@Everyone who said thanks-
You're Welcome! I figured I should try to help the community in SOME way

The DVDs are available as long as they are in stock. However I think it's a one-time delivery. I know my store got roughly 40 of them, so they shouldn't run out all that fast, unless a LOT of people know about it (which I'm sure they don't). You might be able to get a hold of one if you ask the store associates, though I'm not sure how many of them are like me and will give them away.
@TRAViS-
The Wizeman/Reala thing bugged me a little bit too, but I stand by what I said to DiGi last post.

Would we also get the DVD if we bought JoD? It IS an E-rated game last time I checked......
Yes, however that only applies if they still have the DVDs in stock. By that point they may have resorted to giving them out just to get rid of them since there's no reason to market it anymore (in the stores' eyes anyway).

I sent a hard-copy of the video to DiGi and TRiPPY. I don't know if it'll make it on the site or not, but I can upload it somewhere. I'll leave the link to Direct download in the top Post.

We're really quite busy around here lately though, so if it's not up by today then just expect it sometime within the next week.

Thanks so much! I figured it would be a "as long as supplies last" thing. I think I'll stop in sometime this weekend to see if I can't get a free one from one of my sister's friends hehe.

And whoever edited that video must've had NO idea who Wizeman is,cuz the showed Reala...BUT the fact that they showed (For a slight moment) Reala TALKING on one of the computer monitors fills me with GLEE. Pure GLEE. Enough GLEE for it to be entirely capitalized. I can't wait to hear his speaking lines.
Thank you,Xenon for giving us this video!!! (I think of it as an early Christmas present. ) *Hugs Xenon*
