I want to look at the character model for Reala from my NiGHTS into Dreams CD. Know what program I need to veiw it and which file? Thanks

There was one that someone on Sonic-CUlT made long ago... don't know where it is now. It's called 'Reala', I think. Actually, I think there's several out there for that matter...

I've always wanted to pull up the actual in game character models, but the programs i need and which files they are are something that has always eluded me

That'd be pretty cool
Some of the lower-poly (Saturn-level, if not just above) models should be made available on the site if they ever turn up! Might give me some motivation to actually get on the keyboard and program stuff!
Edit: I don't think there's a way to just quickly open a program and load the files off the CD...I think it needs nothing short of a Saturn dev kit >_<

You dont need a saturn dev kit, you can use a memory dump from an emulator (yabause is my favorite) to get the models. The 3d format is posted in the sonic cult forums. Getting the textures and mapping them to the models is a bit tricky though. I have a tool that can do it but its not userfriendly enough to release. But when NID.com makes the hacking section I will give the models to digi and trippy to host.
