It isn't just that they get them in their Japan shop, it's that the Japan shop doesn't ship outside of Japan ): I was going through the SEGA Direct registration and it said "Sorry! We cannot ship to foreign addresses" (Unless I'm horribly mistaken, which I could be. It's not my first or second language. The line was "住所 海外には発送できないので注意してください！"). I wonder if I could convince my friend to let me ship it to her house in Sasebo then ship it to me (Me paying both shipping fees)...

I actually rather enjoyed the game; the controls were a bit shaky, but nothing too terrible. What killed me the most was the level designs. There's one level where it's raining and dark, and you have to get Sonic to jump on the tiniest little box floating around randomly in the water. I died so many times trying to get on that tiny little box... Drove me insane.

Ah I didn't mean for that reason actually xD I was thinking more of maybe you just didn't like it anymore and thought you could've done better or something (Not that it was bad, I liked the page I saw). I've known some people like that so I thought it'd be best to cautious in regards to that. I really didn't think it got to anything risque, I only saw a page with dialog.
