I hate that I don't have Ico, what with its limited availability and high price now, but I do have Shadow of the Colossus, which was awesome. Latest game in development is 'The Last Guardian' on the PS3. This is where to discuss anything and everything Team ICO.

I actually haven't played shadow of the colossus (have wanted to for ages now) but I am one of those lucky people to own the original run of ICO, which is a darn gorgeous game in both looks and story ;_; I've had many a friend raving about Shadow though.

I have both Ico and SotC and I love them both! It's funny how I came across Ico tho XD I rented it from the video store cause there was nothing else there, and I was kinda iffy cause of the weird box art they used. But luckily I read the back LoL.

I bought that baby as soon as I had the money for it XD

And SotC is indeed a beautiful game. Prime example of less is more and more for less. Poor poor Wander... ^^;

I would rank Shadow of the Colossus among the top 10 games of last generation. Great game of a multitude of levels.

Ico was revolutionary for its time and the art direction is still great, but insofar as gameplay it's been largely surpassed by Prince of Persia. Sands of Time is another of those top ten games for me.

Sands of Time was excellent.. Warrior Within drove me mad at times. Still have Two Thrones to play.

honestly I hated this game. I really feel like the controls let it down. I was really looking forward to playing it but when I did it just felt like a mess and I couldnt stand it I was really disappointed.

Sorry to hear that.. making Agro move as fast as you want him to can be tedious, but I got along with controlling Wander well enough..

The screenplay for the Shadow of the Colossus feature is reported to be penned by Justin Marks. He's the same man responsible for the not-so-great Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, if that rings any bells

Looks like it may combine elements of previous titles; this time a giant animal is your partner.

I haven't played ICO yet but I loved Shadow of the Colossus, so I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this game.

The Last Guardian is a first day purchase for me. That's possibly the most beautiful trailer I've ever seen.

Yup it's official. The trailer for it was much like the one we saw a couple weeks ago or so but it's much more detailed and polished.

Not sure if it's true fact or still a rumor, but word is a remastered collection of Ico and SotC is hitting the PS3 next year. Sounds good.

I need to get a copy of ICO to play after hearing a really good remix of some of its music. I 'own' SotC. I swear, there's just really not a game that makes you feel like you can slaughter ANYTHING after you take down all 16 of those guys. Though, I could never make a time run of it. It would be hard to beat the record of downing the fire puppy in 20 seconds. D:

Finally, some more official confirmations. Looking forward to being able to play Ico (without having to pay way more than it's worth). And as said previously I'll gladly play SotC again, if the new visuals are a marked improvement.

What the.. never heard of a UK exclusive ending to SotC..

Correction: According to a Swedish Sega forum member, Ico is the one with an alternate ending, not SotC. Article seems to be wrong.

Anyhoo, I'm certain I'll love this game just like the last 2, but I doubt I'll like it as much as SotC, just because of the giant bird fight.
I've been happily wrong before though and I'm willing to bet this game is going to be on my favs list.
