The iMAGNi sounds like it's getting pulled together nicely, with a clever sounding plot I might add.

Though if me and Nickbot are thinking the same way, I believe I know who's getting posted up on the .Com next.... That should complete the spectrum if I'm not mistaken.

I wish they could make screens that don't give you eye burn >_< This is going to take longer than i expected due to me trying to color things in tandem instead of one at a time. Urf I'm so sleepy.

I'm loving the apple Gemon idea TRiPPY. What a fitting addition to the Engelbaum tree : ). I can almost see it now, and it is very, very pretty : P.

One day, someone will approach you and make this into a full-blown high budget anime. And everyone will rejoice !

Then eat popcorns!

I was talking to DiGi about that yesterday. anime vs. live action vs. CG.
The hair would be impossible to do liveaction i think XD

Re: Eyeburn, make sure the room is well lit, it really helps.

And take BREAKS. For added glare-avoidance, don't use white as your background colour. Even photoshop's grey and white transparency grid is better. Make a white background layer to test stuff with, but the less white you have going on in general while you work, the less bright the screen and the less strain on your eyes. :)

Lamps by the dozen! Lamps and windows and shinythings. And take regular breaks XD And coffee durign those breaks is always good lol.

Lol, they wouldn't be able to do a live action iMAGNi movie without SPECIAL EFFECTS GALORE I'm guessing lol. Just wouldn't be the same without sparkly XD

A complete live action iMAGNi would need a higher SFX budget than the third Matrix movie. XD;; That is, if the new iMAGNi is going to have near the sparkle, pewpewlazars, and bright shiny things that the old version had.

I'm a total dork when it comes to taking breaks it usualy consists of me browsing the forums or replying to emails or whatever. NOT GETTING AWAY FROM SCREEN. Buhhh.
I remember when i was doing work down in England at a design company and their artists had to take 45 minute breaks by law or something? o_O To save their eyesight, it was some strict rule the company had. My prob is if i get into a flow i try to stay there as long as possible without distracting myself with offline stuff or I'll end up being inspired to completely clean my house or something XD;
Changing the BG colors of things is a good idea though. I usualy only use a bright red BG when working with layers to check i get all the white bits. I shall swap it to grey. Veiny dry eyes is not a good look.

Thankyoooooou <3

edit wait-
Nightingale! Wow that's badass! That's exactly what i mean ^^ Glass apples! I got the idea from some weird dream i had once (i think its in my diary) of a house completely made of glass with a big glass tv and a glass basket of fruit. So i thought, what grows on trees, apples. What has vaguely religious subtext in it? Apples. What could grow with the dreamer? Apples. Originaly i thought pears, but i like the idea of a stonking great apple tree covered in lights like a christmas tree. I was talking to Kichi about making an actual glass apple from Resin and molding it with a gem in the middle but apparently it would be insanely hard. One day if this becaomes popular I'd like to sell glass apple paperweight/ornaments with a wide range of Genstones in them. Maybe glow in the dark lamps or something. Hmmmm. *brain breaks*

Even just genstone pendants would be nice, though. They'd be easily made out of resin and would be pretty popular! You could even like, overload the resin with glitter *has been learning about resin casting for a cosplay she wants to doooo* and put it on a mirror backing to make it insanely shiny/sparkly :D

I shall swap it to grey.

Try just filling a layer with black and changing the opacity for your test background. That way you also have the square pattern of the transparent background to help you see where you've not filled things in and you can change it very quickly to help you see light or dark areas. (Also it's a neutral colour so it won't throw off your colour balance in the way using red or blue might, although if you're going to do a coloured background it may be best to use that colour as your working background to make sure you pick the right colours to go with it.)

Hooray~ my CafePress stuff was super-ultra-speedy this time, mostly 'cause I got *just* badges. Ordered last Wednesday night and they were here this afternoon.

The purple "dreamer" button was a bit brighter than the preview on the site. Still looks good, though.
I'm running out of room on my bag XD

O RLY now? XD Thanks for telling me, it's good to know how colors turn out so i can do them lighter/darker on this pc as everyones screens different. I was wearing my new pink reality lost tshirt today to a job interview and I'm glad i darkened the colors on the design as pinks dont print well but reds do. I'm slowly figuring out what works and what doesnt. Remember to tell me when your art reaches you too :3

I've had a mad few past days and tommorow I'm out on buisness with DiGi and his cousin going to clothing stores for the family buisness, soooooo i wont be doing any more coloring until Thursday. I've really been working my ass off on the last 2 people because i plan on making posters so the images have to look nice up close too.

Slightly tispy right now so i should probably not type lol.

See you guys tommorow

My PC screen might've mislead me, but yeah.. the preview looks darker purple than it is. Still looks good and goes with the rest of my bag - lol.

Will definitely let you know when I get the package! (Also, did you get my PM?)

Anyway, go have lots of fun out there with DiGi and his cousin.

I was wondering, for fan Gens, do they get to make up their own gen-stone design for themselves and their Gemons, or are there..rules to follow from what color you are or something similar?

Just a quick question for you, Ms. Wrenreele: will you be sticking with your original gen title, or are you making a new one? It makes me no difference either way; I just want to be able to put it on the list if you choose a new title. I know the list is completely moot, but it's the one thing I can do that actually makes me feel special, so... I'ma keep doing it.

Do the Gens still have specific 'colour aspects'? I think they used to, mostly, but what now?

Also, I'm curious, will Forever Unity still be the 'theme song' per se? I was just wondering about that at work yesterday XD That song's always been one of my faves, it's special for reasons I can't explain easily, I was just wondering if it'd be returning XD

for fan Gens, do they get to make up their own gen-stone design for themselves and their Gemons,

Yes they do :P Though... it'd probably be a decent idea to wait a bit incase you design something identical to somebody elses. Sort of like turning up to a party with the same dress, lol. I've been designing little shapes and to be honest it's quite hard because there are only so many shapes you can use. Though! a yellow triangle would be different from a green triangle wouldn't it?
Rules.. hmm.. well only that your Gemon is a standard sized apple (NOT MEGAZORD APPLE) and that the Genstone is at its core were the seeds should be. The apples start of clear glass, but when the Gen awakens it glows with the color of the core.
There's actualy a lot of rules about the apples but i can't get into them right now without buggering the story, so after a couple of issues are done you'll be able to understand whats important about them.
Still! Nothing wrong with making yours in advance :) Just dont argue over them T^T!!!

As for names. Yes Gens still have virtue names, but they arent used much as they are very bulky and a bit of a mouthful. So 'Marsbar Yumyums' would be a formal name and 'Bob' would be informal. They mostly call eachother by their informal names. Also note capitalisation is done and dusted. I got sick of the caps key *snort* Though theres nothing stopping you from using it.

Forever Unity- Its downright creepy you should ask that actualy because yesterday i was blaring that song as i found it in a folder on my pc. I'd love for this to still be the 'anthem' if you will, though i would have to rework it a bit as the sound quality is terrible XD;; My brother has the full instrumental version, but it's like 7 minutes long >:3 Maybe I'll try book some studio time along the line and get it recorded properly. With backing singers! Instead of me having to do EVERYONES voices :|

--------

Ok, today i aim to get stuff finished and wrapped up. It's taking a while because I'm really putting a lot of work into what im coloring right now. Also I'm working on some giftart for a friend (which I'll post up) that i promised her today, so lets see how much i can get done.
