I just had to bring this up! ^_^

I noticed that when I hear about NiGHTS or see him, even hearing the music I get this weird feeling inside! I feel sad like I want to cry, Happy, Anxious, scared, and shy at the same time.

This feeling is so strong too. It's like when I hear about or see him, All these emotions inside of my heart come out at the same time.

Have you ever felt like this?

Very much! NiGHTS always makes me get those happy little butterflies, whenever I play. I'm sure I'll have an overload when the new one comes out. When I wasn't playing it, I had the disk in my CD player and the music always made me feel pretty good, too. I'm sure a lot of us get that feeling. NiGHTS is the rare type of game that can get to you, with its unique beauty. There'll never be anything else like NiGHTS.

I know what you mean! ^_^ I just know I'll have an overload of emotions when JOD comes out!

And NiGHTS is indeed unique, I have never gotten this feeling from any other game I've played!

Odd, but not the bad kind of odd. Odd like something in the back of my mind has been awakened, and in comes flooding in everything that I've learned about and from the game since we first met. ..seeing those big friendly eyes on the gamebox at the flea market after a very bizarre week piqued my interest. It was a playful invitation that I didn't acknowledge first off. Then my ordered copy from Amazon arrived on one of the worst days I had last year..


Giddy now, like the most of you. I just really wish there were more cardboard standups or posters around the video game stores. That always got me going when I was a kid and a new game I wanted to play was coming out.

When I think of NiGHTS I get happy and sad at the same time. It depends though. Sometimes its hard for me to play the game because of the memoreis it brings back of my childhood. I was happiest in those days when I still lived with my mom...and NiGHTS makes me think of that from time to time. So sometimes I am super giddy and excited about NiGHTS. At other times I feel like crying. There is so much more too it but I don't want to explain my deepest emotions on here.

Thats exactly how I feel. For me....... there is so much more to that feeling I get too, something more deep inside. But I am too shy to share it, and I really don't want to talk about my deepest emotions on here either.

But I'm glad that there are others who knows that exact feeling! ^_^

You are not alone there.Whenever I hear NiGHTS or anything related to NiGHTS,I get all off-the-wall excited!I sometimes giggle weird.

I was really excited when news of the second game came about, bouncing off the walls happy due to the fact my original attempts at getting a Saturn all met with failure. The music is also something nice to listen to while you sleep. Not very loud or intrusive, it makes me feel very peaceful.

Everytime I hear the music, it makes me really happy and when i play the game..i fell, i dunno how to explain it..it feels like ..clean like when you just get out of the shower...or clean like your sitting outside and a nice cool breeze comes through..

For me, that feeling is "Defying Gravity" from Wicked, doubly so when performed live on Broadway.

To me, NiGHTS stirs feelings of childhood. The purple jester takes me back to a 6-year-old mindset when it was fine to spend all day dreaming and playing. Back when the world was just an enormous playground.

I feel happy, excited, and like I just had way too much sugar.

I feel like NiGHTS gets me happy everytime I play it, hear it, or see it, regardless of the situation. Example:

Feeling good, but don't have a lot going on? Play NiGHTS and just chill.
Stuck in rush hour, frustrated? Queue up the soundtrack and let the smiles per hour start.
Angry as hell? Count to 100 (Links) and it just melts away.
Bummed out? NiGHTS's perfect smile and big shiny anime eyes take care of that problem.
Anxious, dying to play JoD? NiD puts that to rest.

I dunno. It just seems like anything pertaining to NiGHTS tends to shift my mood for the better. The music is definitely uplifting anytime, anywhere (sometimes giving me a feeling of lightness). The game itself is mesmerizing, if not hypnotizing just from the fluidity and pure beauty. The artwork and art style are among my favorites out there. And to top it all off, it was NiGHTS into Dreams that got me into questioning and looking into the subconscious, motivating me to investigate lucid dreaming (with 8 successful NiGHTS in 3 months!).

All in all NiGHTS makes me feel...pretty damned good.

...okay, that's a joke. But seriously, in my dreams, I usually talk to NiGHTS about stuff for the longest time, but he just shrugs what I say off and suggests that we go flying. And of course, I oblige.

On a personal note. NiGHTS makes me happy. He is a great escape. Plus he's connected me to you fine people. The more socializing I do, even online the better. (antisocial, antisocial.) O.O

I sometimes feel the way you do :3 Usually when I read anything about NiGHTS, hear the music and play the game I'm either really giddy or somewhat dazed, usually 'cause I'm either staring at a screen, picture or reading and I get really caught up in it XD

Ahh,NiGHTS...To tell you the truth,the first time I saw NiGHTS was in PSO during an online mission.

Never really thought much about it,till I saw a pic a friend made of her OCs (It was part of the famous 100 theme challenge...the theme happened to be Night.) I posted the lyrics to Dreams,Dreams, cuz' the pic reminded me of the song...posted a link to the song afterwards,then I was compelled to find NiGHTS vids...

Then through another gallery,I stumbled upon the link to the NiD site...Then my obsession grew.

But reading thoughts of NiGHTS from other members made me feel...Nostalgic in a way.(I never played the original,but I still love it.)

I also want to Lucid Dream(Some of you guys really do it well!! You make it seem easy! XD ) so I can meet him. Seems silly,right? Naw,I don't think so. I believe that he (Among other worlds) exist. Hey,a girl can dream,can't she~?

I want to treat my characters (Fanchars or otherwise) with more respect...heck,I even created Characters BASED on NiGHTS!
All the characters I make are a part of me. I guess you can say they represent my obsessions in a way. XD

But all in all,I owe it to NiGHTS.

When I think of NiGHTS, I think of happy things. I think of little Nightopians fluttering around someone's yard. I think of fruitily-dressed jesters paralooping around my chimney. I think of Britney Spears being hit in the head by a brick (don't kill me spears fans I hate that woman). It makes me say to myself, "I thought of NiGHTS! It doesn't matter that I've been hit in the head by a stick! It doesn't matter I've failed my geometry test and have to go to summer school! I thought of NiGHTS today! I love today." Something like that.

How do I explain it? It's sort of a sentimental, I wanna cry feeling. But it's that good kind of cry, the one where you're so happy that you can't stop blubbering on even though people are asking what's wrong and are getting annoyed with you. And then there's the little shivers that just start from your feet and go up, filling your whole body with this nice kind of deep blue feeling. Not to mention the music calms my angry feelings.

I agree with everyone! NiGHTS = every good emotion we have.. he reminds us that we're dreamers, if that makes any sense.

One other way to describe it... NiGHTS makes me feel welcome. It doesn't matter how I look, act, think, eat, sleep, believe, talk, play, whatever! I just know that when I dream of him, he'll hold one hand out to me and smile. There's no judgment, no expectations or strings attached. I can't express in words how awesome that is. ^^

what can i say that haven't been sayed? <3 i feel similar...
every time i saw the NiGHTS's first opening, ( the one with fragmented NiGHTS ) i felt really happy...i wanted to jump out the chair and...i don't know how to explain this XD NiGHTS is my biggest inspiration, it really REALLY stimulates creativity inside one. When i draw, think about my art and all...i just feel a NiGHTSy thing inside, that makes me feel so free about it. A feeling like "i can draw anything i want, as i can express myself freely too"

it's some welcome-feeling that NiGHTS has. No other game, cartoon/anime/animation that i know has it. As a christian i am i think that NiGHTS is good stuff

NiGHTS makes me feel .... .... Loved? I get in fights with my friends a lot, so NiGHTS always helps me..... I talk to him when I'm sleeping, sometimes he ignores me, sometimes he doesn't.... It depends on his mood. For a while there, sleeping was my favorite passtime.

Nostalgic. Thinking about NiGHTS makes me giddy, even when I'm in the worst of moods. It makes me remember being a little kid playing the demo. Hearing Dreams Dreams is like eating chocolate for me, it just makes me feel very much loved and hopeful. I just feel so much better about myself, like Poli and Kori said. Free, as if no one else would give a care in the world what I did, even if it was something really stupid and embarassing. NiGHTS was in a way my first crush (XD the fruity jester himself, yes), but in an innocent way. Thinking about him is a way to relive that innocence. It's like my purity ideya comes back from the dark pits and fills my heart.

None of my friends know about NiGHTS much, other then what I've babbled to them- I plan on letting them borrow my copy of JoD eventually...and only to the friends I trust to take care of it! But we share pretty much everything between us- every fandom, every fanfic. NiGHTS is a separate thing that I can keep to myself, in a way. I can be as silly and immature as I want with NiGHTS-related stuff, and no one gives a care 'cause no one else knows about it. It's something that's mine alone from my childhood.
