Let me tell you a little bit about myself. And I'll make this very short, so boredom doesn't reign supreme.
Quick facts; go!
I'm [primarily] a Nintendo fan; my favorite games are
± [NES] Mega Man 2 (1-6, really)
± [NES] Super Mario Bros.
± [GEN] Sonic the Hedgehog 2
± [GEN] Sonic the Hedgehog 3
± [GEN] Sonic & Knuckles
± [GEN] Vectorman
± [SAT] NiGHTS Into Dreams
± [N64] Super Mario 64
± [360] Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved;
I like retro gaming more than modern gaming; I'm a computer nerd (specifically in terms of Information Security); I am familiar with Flash/Photoshop; my favorite music genre is Goa Trance; I have a wonderful girlfriend; I've beaten the Super Mario 64 16-star speedrun record, but didn't record it (believe it or not); I play baseball; I have quite the Sonic collection; find an interest in Ufology; I will help you with any computer-related problem if you ask politely and reasonably.
Phew. Well, there's a quick summary. One thing to note is that I've only been playing NiGHTS for the last year. And I'm highly disappointed that I didn't get to play it until now. Never owning a Saturn is the main reason. However, I've been a huge fan for a long time (even before playing it).
I hope to see more of you on other parts of the forum!

Hmm... seems like you're really a SEGA fan after all![...] my favorite games are

I'm just having a little fun, don't take it too seriously.
Welcome to the forums.
PS: You mentioned being a "computer nerd". Do you know how to program? If so, in what language(s)? Also, where can we see some of your Flash work?
PPS: Well, I clicked on the picture, and I see you know at least C++, Java, and Visual Basic. You also use Linux, which graduates you from nerd to geek.
PPPS: Which Linux distro do you use? (Final postscriptum, I promise.) Edit: It's on your signature! Wow I feel stupid.

I'm guessing you're referring to the release of N:JoD. So yes, a good time, indeed!Welcome, you came at an excellent time.

I guess I'm a pretty big Sega fan, too . But Nintendo systems outweigh the Sega consoles I own. So I'm a fan of both Nintendo and Sega. . Thanks for the welcome, by the way.
PS: I've taken two years of Advanced Placement Java classes. So I know a bit of Java; I'm no expert, however. I'm currently working on learning Actionscript, but just don't have enough time. I've got quite a few Flash projects that are unfinished, as well. I'll show you sometime.
PPS: Oh! Actually, I have yet to read those books. Haha. I'm a very busy person and haven't yet had the time to read them. But as previously stated, I know some Java. And yes, Linux will do that to a person.
PPPS: Ubuntu, of course! I was really involved with it about a year ago, then my motivation died down a bit and I'm now just getting back into it. I know some things in terms of Linux, but I'm by no means an advanced user [yet].
----------------------------
Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone! I really appreciate it! I think I'm going to like it here...
