After neglecting my precious Saturn for years, I finally am using it once again as a regular, daily game system. All thanks to NiGHTS.

I was browing eBay looking for some games to buy to expand my paltry collection (3 games: NiGHTS, Daytona, and Virtua Fighter Remix) and I realized I have no idea what's great and worth getting. So I wanted to get some opinions on what were some great Saturn games that no gamer should be without. I've heard a lot about the Panzer Dragoon series, but outside of that I've got no idea.

So what games should be in every Saturn gamer's collection?

This topic is where we talk about all the Satern games many of us fans have. http://www.nightsintodreams.com/forum//ind...p?showtopic=709

However, while I am here I will tell you right now that if you like NiGHTS than you will probably lke Clockwork Knights too.

I haven't had the chance to expand my Saturn colllection in quite a while. I'm hoping to get new games soon, but for now, I have only about 10 games. I had more when I was younger, I had more games, but some broke, and some got lost. (My copy of NiGHTS into Dreams was sadly one of the ones lost :( )

From my experience, some games that you MUST have are:Daytona USA (I have Championship Circuit Edition, but any is good)
Clockwork Knight I & II (I only own the first one currently)
Cyber Speedway (Loved that game a ton)
NiGHTS (duh)
Sonic 3D Blast (Or any Sonic game)
Panzer Dragoon (Heard good things about it, and I'm getting it soon, so I recommend this one)
Virtua Cop I & II (What can I say? Shooting crooks is fun!)
Virtua Fighter (I have number 2, and I'm trying to get Virtua Fighter Remix. I love playing as Shun! :( )
If you are looking for rare collectables, try to get some sampler packs or game sets that came with the Saturn package. I have a few, and I find it cool that I have them.

Thanks for reminding me of needing to get more Saturn games. *Runs off looking for games* ;)

Streets of Rage with monsters and swords= Guardian Heroes. See if you can find it, I hear it goes for a lotta money now.. and if you're a fan of Capcom fighting games, every title from X-Men: Children of the Atom and Street Fighter Alpha until Marvel vs. Street Fighter is available. But X-Men vs. SF and Marvel vs. SF are import only, so you'd need an ST-Key to play them

Some that haven't been mentioned yet.

Virtual On (even better if you find the twin sticks peripheral)
Burning Rangers
Panzer Dragoon Saga (If you're willing to bite the bullet)
Dragon Force
Shining Force III
Radiant Silvergun (Same as PDS and then some)

Like Viper said, there were also great 2D fighters by Cpacom.
