[Zero-Shift]

I had a fun idea. I'm going to say one character from each company who are similar or could fight on even ground. The next person says who would win in a fight, then they propose their own match-up. The next poster does the same and so on. Let's have some fun and see how far this goes.

The first match is:

Namor vs. Aquaman

Hm.. Wolverine's nigh impossible to kill, but even his adamantium won't be able to cut Supes. Superman will win.

Green Lantern vs. Phoenix

light phoenix or dark phoenix? i'ma gonna go with dark phoenix. phoenix because she's got super ultimate power and green lantern doesn't. seriously, that's pretty unmatched. and i may be wrong, but didn't the guy that killed superman do it without the use of kryptonite? you know, that alien guy, the doom-something or other?

I think people are missing the point of this thread. I wanted fights between similar characters. Here are a few more matches to show what I mean.

Moon Knight vs. Batman

Hawkeye vs. Green Arrow

Deadpool vs. Deathstroke

Considering the current World War Hulk thing going on... yeah... I'm fairly certain Hulk would win XD

Taking Moon Knight Vs. Batman... I'd probably go with Moon Knight. The guy has absolutly no morals and has Adamantium laced into his costume... he could probably be incapacitated by some of Batman's gas type things, but I'd reckon aul Batty would still be long down.
...though Wayne did almost beat Superman hand to hand...

The reason I asked was because Reyes vs. Stark is much more even. If Kord fought Tony, he'd get his ass handed to him on a silver platter, especially considering Tony now has the Extremis thing going on. I'm not sure who would win between Reyes and Stark.

Re: Hulk vs. Batman- They already fought and Batman beat him swiftly. I don't agree with the outcome myself, but let it be known that Batman knocked Hulk out with sleep gas bombs. So, yeah, there's that.

Re: Blue Beetle vs. Iron Man- I would go for Iron Man at this point in time because Reyes is still a kid and doesn't have a lot of experience handling the scarab. Of course, if Reyes gets a handle on his powers, he would wipe the floor with Stark, ending his alcoholic, womanizing ways once in for all (he was an ass in Civil War and I'm still pissed at him).

Re: Moon Knight vs. Batman- OOOH! Close match! Moon Knight would obviously have the edge over Batman, but Batman has the fan factor which would push the publishers to edge the battle in Batman's favor. If this was an unbiased match I would go with Moon Knight, though.

Re: Hawkeye vs. Green Arrow- They are basically the same person except for the fact that Olly has a much more interesting life. I would just give it to Green Arrow because I like reading about him.

Re: Deadpool vs. Deathstroke- Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Deathstroke and if you pick Deathstroke against (almost) anyone, I would pick Deathstroke hands down! I mean, being able to use 90% of his brain? That aspect alone would make me choose him over Batman! But there still is the HUGE fact that Deadpool STILL CAN'T DIE! Thanos won't let him! How would he ever lose? He can't! So I have to begrudgingly give this one to Deadpool...

Re: Green Lantern vs. Phoenix- I assume you meant Hal Jordan, in which case you mean Specter vs. Phoenix. In which case I would give it to Spectre (just slightly) because I like him better.
