I have yet to see a topic on this subject, and am very curious as to how many other people have experienced this sort of thing, and what those experiences where like.

I have shared the same dream with another person once, a close friend, but it hasn't happened again since. She and I had the exact same dream, on the same night. We both remember seeing each other and the scenery we both saw was the same. It's as if we were in the same dreamscape at the same time, only way I can think to explain it. There was also another being in the dream with us, a dark figure wearing boots, which would clank as it walked along the metal floors. She and I both saw and heard it, just from different points of view.

Was a definite hair-raiser, but at the same time extremely intriguing. lol We never got to speak to one another, but I wonder, if we had been able to hone this skill, could we have actually met up in different dreams and interacted with each other? Hmm... so, any thoughts? Experiences of your own? Please feel free to share! :3

Yep, I beleive this sort of thing can happen.
I've wondered if any of my friends have met me in the dream world as well?

If anyone recalls a tree with Ideya in it next to a brick wall, or a iMAGNi themed Realm wall, let me know.

I've, sadly, never had a shared dream. But, I'm working on it xD; . And have heard of them.

My mate and I have had several shared dreams. Those haven't been as common since we moved in together, but while we were long-distance, it happened quite a lot.

I had a similar sort of experience with a friend from long ago...when dreaming he would be able to watch my dreams as if he were watching a TV show or something. The morning after he would be able to tell me action-for-action what I did from start to finish...yet I never saw him nor any TV cameras or whatnot in my dreams. It was quite strange...it happened maybe four or five times back when I was about 9. It hasn't happened since, nor with anyone else.

I've always wondered what that was all about...

I've done this, and not with a person I'd rather have shared a dream with--my angsty teenage sister (or she was at the time.)

A few years ago I wandered into a dream that felt quite unlike mine. Flat, rather cliched and random, with my sister as the main character. She was dying in a hospital bed and every time our mother apologized for being a b*tch to her, the heart meter would start working again. Total cheese. Everyone was slathering love and affection over her and begging her not to die <.< I was begging to wake up.

Anyway, when I did wake up, she started talking about her dreams.. recounting that one. I listened to it in shock but also annoyance.. I figured if something like that happened, it should happen with someone I'm close to, not a spoiled emo'ing girl. Well, anyway, that's that.

Oh.. also.. I've had a continuation of someone else's dream. Purgatory told me about a dream with these two boys in it, one was a wild kid--quite an interesting scenario there. A few months later I ended up having a sort of sequal dream to it that took place years later. That doesn't exactly fit but close enough ne.

The same thing happened to me and a close friend of mine, but we were younger. (I was about 8 or 9 and he was 11 or 12)

It was really strange. XD The dream was kinda like a puzzle, and I remember we were talking about it in real life, explaining what parts of the puzzle we figured out. XD Kind of like two people splitting up and searching an area and meeting and telling what they've seen.. however we weren't split up the entire time. XP

Some of our other friends were there, however, they did not share the dream. XD
