How about we talk about Soul Calibur? That fighting game series made by Namco.
Maybe about its first game, Soul Edge? the games after that, Soul Calibur, 2, and 3?
What kind of characters you've made on SC3?
The upcoming 4 and Legends games?

I really like these games. The First Soul Calibur is probably one of my top 7 fighting games. A combination of nostalgia and great gameplay being the main reasons why.
I myself like to use Nightmare and Cervantes. In SC2 I'm nigh untouchable when using the ol' zombie pirate.
I'm a little worried about where the series is headed though. I thought SC3 was absolutely horrid and I'm extremely worried about SC4 as well. The fact it isn't being released in arcades first isn't doing anything to ease my worries at all. One can only hope for the best I suppose.

Hm... Yeah.. I have read on an article that they're going (or at least planning) to release a PSP verson of SC3, fixed bugs and all.
My personal faves are Xianghua (Toh~), Cassandra, Amy, Seung Mina, Setsuka, and Zasalamel.
...
What? Who doesn't like a guy with a scythe!?!
...
Okay, so one of his endings prove otherwise..

I own 2 for the Gamecube and 3; i prefer 3 tho cause it's cooler...
My fav characters are Xianghua (tho i HATE her voice), Kilik, that Koerean guy whose name escapes me... and Talim. They're also my favourite pairings of the game ^-^;

I like games with character customization because i like adding that personal touch to a game. So, Soul Calibur 3 goes down as being my favourite of the lot for that reason. The bugs in the game are irritating though...like the save file just corrupting for no reason. You played Chronicles of the Sword? You know how long it took me to get to that last bloody battle? A long time. And even then i was still in the process of beating him yet had not done it yet. One day, i go to play it and the game has corrupted itself for no reason whatsoever. I've spoken to a number of gamers and they have experienced the same thing and have had to start the game from scratch....which is really irritating when you've spent a good 50 hours collecting the items and stuff.
In terms of storywise though, i'm saying the original Soul Calibur on Dreamcast. That, for me, was a great story and it continued nicely on from the original Soul Edge game on PS. Soul Calibur 3's story was ok but not great. I mean, i'm beginning to wonder how many times they can bring that sword back from the dead, you know? Soul Edge doesn't die. They'll still be fighting that damn thing until Soul Calibur 46.
You know what would be an interesting spin off? To see a Soul Calibur set in the future. Or even present day, perhaps. I love the old age look and that is what makes Soul Calibur what it is, the time period....but... just to see how the world and settings would look if the battle between the two swords slipped through the ages of time and continued to this very day would be interesting.
Fave characters -
Mitsurugi,
Maxi,
Ivy,
Taki.

Mmm, Soul Cal. One of the few fighting games I'm decent at!
Favourite characters would be:
Ivy, Talim, Setsuka, Cervantes, and Voldo (>:])
AND FOR SOME REASON I REALLY LIKE THE TAMBOURINE WEAPON STYLE. D: I'm actually really good at it AND I DON'T KNOW WHY D: it's freaky.

Lol. And yeah, maybe an idea for a story of a modern-day Soul Calibur would be interesting.
As for my fave descipline.. it would be the Steel Fan!
