I can see maybe a cameo. Maybe. But I wouldn't want to fight him again. What's the point? Other than the fact that people just want to squeal all over a popular Nightmaren, he has no purpose in this game. And if they do give in to the groupies' temper tantrums, it better have a really really good point and reason to have him in it. :/

When you compare the art direction of the two games and the capabilities of the two consoles... if Claris were rendered in a Wii game, she might look an awful lot like that.

In the meantime, however, one would think that a big web name like IGN would have some halfway decent programmers on staff. The "Insiders Only" content (for right-click to download) is protected by nothing more than a JavaScript onClick() routine. Which means that if you want to download the high resolution Windows Media and QuickTime videos, all you need to do is disable JavaScript, refresh the page, right-click and download.

In Internet Explorer, this is as simple as adding ign.com to the "Untrusted Sites" zone.

Really? Well, come to think of it, he does look like he's got a bit of TP influence...

...but seeing how he attacks made me think something along the lines of 'King Boom Gulpo' or something. I saw him pop up out of the ground in that thing, and instant SA2 flashback to fighting against King Boom Boo.

I hate to talk about Reala so badly because he truly is a magnificient villain but the saddest part about them introducing Reala's new appearance is that Wizeman's appearance actually outshines Reala's in my opinion. He looks so dark and brooding. It's like he's ready to give a six handed pimp smack.

HOLY CRAP.

I cried.

I really did, never have I seen NiGHTS so beautiful before. Fluid movements right down to the flutter in his feet after he twirls at the beginning. His eyes had the perfect shine and all through out the entire new trailer NiGHTS always had a playful aura about him. Never seen him like that before And I like it. Alot.

Now onto the children.

Will = Adorable. I can not get over the part where he pulled his father from the car door. "Daddy don't go..." Poor thing.

Helen = reminds me of a girl who's just getting into teenaged things which I really enjoy. Her mother was very interesting too. Young but getting on in years as the slight wrinkles revealed.

Gameplay = ^____^ Awesome. Nuff said.

Reala = Feather king of doom XD The mask is nice, I LOVE the gem (inferiority complex much?) but the feathers coulda been taken away. I still think he looks awesome aside from that. More like NiGHTS though...

Overall the trailer made me spaz, cry, laugh, cheer and praise god for letting this happen XD. I'm still watching it as we speak. *trying to download it too*

I'm currently downloading the trailor...but I can easily say...just from the screenshots...

This is the most beautiful game I have ever seen. Seriously. It's like they took FF and Zelda's uberness, combined it with some Mario/Sonic magic, then sprinkled it with a beautiful coating of everyone's favorite purple Nightmaren. Sega...I love you. -hugs everyone-

I'm editing as I watch. THE MUSIC AT THE BEGINNING!!! IT SOUNDS UBER CREEPY AND I'M LOVING IT. You know, the music-box type sound? I want this game. NOW.

I'm only about a fourth of the way through now...but...I can say...I'm more excited about this now than I was about Twilight Princess.

Good to see ol' NiGHTS can fly without the children this time around, but...did he just try to para-loop Helen?!

Aaaaand done. =3 Over all? Fivehundred million out of 10. I luff the part where NiGHTS is bein' a showoff at the end. Luff it to death.

Finally got around to the trailer. Holy crap. I'm fairly impressed. Though I do agree with Louis, Reala's design looks far too busy. Other than that, I think it'll grow on me. The kids' portions of the levels could also do with a graphical upgrade, but the whole thing is still in progress, thankfully. And yeah, NiGHTS does appear way too slow. Slightly troubling considering how fast he/she goes in the first game. Complaints aside, I really did enjoy the trailer, and the new bosses. Gulpo originally had a lot of potential to be a scary boss, and this new fish one looks like it took that fear and ran with it. If I ever saw that thing in my dreams, I'd waste no time in running away.

And I'm rather speechless as to just how imposing Wizeman looks. Makes me think back to the Butcher boss in Psychonauts. As for the FMVs.. Whee. Those are like pure ice cream, pizza rolls, and cake for the eyes. @_@

I must also admit NiGHTS looks rather adorable with that smile.

Yeah, Jof. I noticed the car had changed colour too because i was the only person making a huge fuss about the car when the first trailer went up. lol XD
But, yeh. As with everyone else i soon forgot about the car when i saw NiGHTS smile.

Secondly, this 'Reala' thing. Lol, OH HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED! I was the only person saying strongly that i didn't wanna see Reala back for the sequel because i don't like him too much and most of you guys wanted him to return. Now he has returned, we've got loads of you saying that his design ain't all too jammy and i'm saying it looks bad ass! XD Hmm. Maybe i should start saying i dont want Jackle to return, either.
But on the subject of Reala, i think some of you need to give it a chance again, eh? Like you done with NiGHTS' new costume. I mean, come on. You've only seen video footage of Reala for not even 2 seconds. Blink and you would have missed him. Wait until more is shown of him and then see how you feel about it then.
Also, i have no idea why some of you are saying Reala has no black on him now. Wtf? He has black on him. He's red and black still! o_O
I still dislike him though for the sheer fact that he's a git....but i'm in a 'i hate to love' situations here so i'm gonna say "it's good to see him" and keep it at that.

Also, i highly doubt that it is Claris that is standing next Helen in that screenshot. Although i would love it to be, i don't think they would have done a cameo in that sense. This means that Claris and Elliot no longer come from Twin Seeds and probably no longer have had their encounter with NiGHTS themselves. Although i agree with how the art direction of JoD would change Claris from here old skool looks into this shiny new image, i don't think this particular character is her. Still, at least we can use that character as a rough idea of how Claris would have looked had they of used the original characters. *imagines*

I'm really not going to be surprised, speaking of the Claris cameo, if Elliot gets one as well. Maybe he's playing Basketball near where Will is playing Soccer? I honestly think SEGA didn't make the redhead look similar to Claris by accident.

Regarding Jackle, we all know Wizeman still has his many spikes on his head, and there was that one picture with a caped figure that everyone assumed was either wizeman or reala but seems to be neither. Could be him or a remake.

Oh, the curtain. May be slightly symbolic of Wizeman, but we have a vague idea of what he looks like now thanks to the new trailer. He's looming behind Reala. =3 He looks the same, from what I can see from the shadow. Though it appears he has some sort of halo now.
