NiGHTS into Garry's Mod! :)

Well, I downloaded a modeling program thinking it would be a piece of cake, and WHOA! I was surprised. So...after that, I got on the deviantART, and I noticed kichigai's models, and I thought, "Whoa. Those are awesome!" So I messaged her about using them. She hasn't replied yet, but I was wondering, how many others would like to see this? I think it would be awesome! All I would have to do is get someone to make them into ragdolls, and port them into Gmod. Anyway, I'll post news when I hear back from kichigai!

I guess I'm just gonna have to buy gmod. Good thing I have HL2, though.Yeah, you would need Gmod. To play Gmod, you need a copy of Half Life 2. I don't know how one would go about making NiGHTS playable. Apparently it is very hard to make ragdolls playable, but I've seen it done, so...I dunno.

Yeah, you need Half-Life 2, which normally sells for around 19.99 USD. You also need to get Garry's Mod, which costs 10 dollars. Because Garry is a sellout.

Ah. I saw this post and noticed your message. I get a lot of notes so I can't always catch them all. Did you message me before september? I was on vacation for practicly then entire month of august. @3@ As for the model I really don't feel comfy giving it out. Plus the polygon count is way too high for a game.... however, If you could tell me what the poly-count limit is for the game I could make a low-poly version.

You need to find out the avergae count for a HL2 character (preferably in triangles as different software can give odd figures for polys) and aim for that if you intend to have a character that won't destroy your system.
I would suggest around 3-4000 polys, and considering how simple NiGHTS actually is then I'd doubt you'd need more than that.

I had never played HL2 or that gary mod so I'm going to make it into a simple obj format.

I got Gmod about a month or two ago, and seeing that epic win that can result from Gmod... well... there's going to be a lot of giggling going on on the forums
