My dA account is: http://fozz.deviantart.com

Image I made a couple of months ago of my friend Vicky. Done in Photoshop in about 15hours as my first real attempt at digital painting.

...For a first attempt at digital painting, that's simply gorgeous! That hair is amazing, and I love how soft the color of her face is. It's very delicate, almost doll-like.
Only critique is that her eyelashes don't really seem to fit the overall feel of the picture -- sort of like the lines should be a little more bold and defined, if that makes sense.

Your character design based off Keith Richards sort of looks like Richards-meets-Einstein. I love it :) ..that, and your wizard's hat from the last picture. Super-cool hat, there. I want it.

Thanks for the comments. I had the eyelashes bolder at one stage in the painting, but it really didn't look right and took focus away from the eyes. Ever so slightly, but enough to take away from the overall image (in my opinion naturally, but then whose else can you take when you're initially creating, lol).

Just incase people don't realise, the Kieth Richards sketch is drawn in such a pose so that when I come to model him, it can be placed in my front viewport as reference. I have a second image of him sideways on for the same reason. No idea how familiar people are on here with the processes of modelling for games/animation.

First post updated.

Another thread on here reminded me of the pic I did of the Bebop crew a few years ago, so there it is.

...Wow. That digital painting is really good. Definitely worth the wait for it to load!

Hee, I love that art of Rincewind. And here I thought nobody here would remember Discworld. :) Though my favorite character will always be the Luggage.

Not remember Discworld? You mean a series of about 30 books that is still being added to each year? Please tell me you aren't only aware of the games.

Some of my other Discworld pieces are on my dA page, not sure about the Luggage. I didn't upload everything I did for that project.
