  • Interests:well, NiGHTS, of course, but besides that, we got the video games, the techno music, the card magic, and anything that can ammuse the easily ammused. such as the evil golf ball snow globe.
OK, my turn.

I've been around forever, hehehe. At the beginning of time, I got the saturn, yay (this was of course, after my genesis.) Best system of it's time. Unfortunately as it was, I had to share it with my brother :P . After a while, Mom came home one day and said she had a new game for us. It was the demo disc for Christmas NiGHTS. Wow O_O. I played for hour upon hours on end, frequently breaking into arguements that my brother wanted to play machine head (good game, btw). He'd make up excuses like "It's just a demo", or "It's girly!". I let all those comments go right by me, and continued to play. It was so much fun :D. I woud use level times to just fly around rather than proceed with the level. i knew all the secrets, play as reala on april fools day, play as sonic on christmas, I'd cheat, of course XD. The puffy based , santa suited robotnic was the best boss, but the only other fight was gillwing. Ok, after a few years, my brother sold the saturn. i was SO PiSSED. No, the lowercase "i" in pissed was a typo, i just left it :P. Back on topic, years went by, really slowly. The family split apart, this and that, NiGHTS was but a memory now. Ok, so about a year and a half ago, I moved to where I am now, Florida. I had a really hard time finding where I fit in, until finally, over a year later, I'm in a computer graphics class with iNSOMNiAC. She mentioned NiGHTS to me one day, something brought it up in conversation, and I'm like "... wait... NiGHTS?... You mean like... flighty dreamy NiGHTS?" and it went from there. I'd hang out with her at her house and play NiGHTS for the first time (the actual game, that is) with the 3d analog controller (also for the first time) and OH what a TRIP down MEMORY LANE THAT was. WOW! That was great! I later visited the site, and joined the forum when it came up, and all that mumbo jumbo. I can't wait for NiGHTS 2 >.< I didn't even know about it till she came along ^_^

omg, I rambled again. Oh, how I love the clackling sound the keyboard makes when you type a good paragraph :P

When I first saw NiGHTS it was in Sonic Adventure Dx Directors Cut.....and I thought NiGHTS was a girl! ^_^ I like the way she/he looked and decided that she looks pretty cool but I didn't take the time to look NiGHTS up on Wikipedia cause I wasn't curious. The second time I saw NiGHTS in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle,I was thinking that NiGHTS must be pretty important to appear twice so I went on Wikipedia and learned about NiGHTS.I was really interested and found my way across Madam Trippy's art on Deviantart and fell in love with her character U.V. NiGHTS.Then I found her website and here I am. :)

I played it way back at a store called Media Play. I didn't have a clue in the world on what to do, but I enjoyed flying around anyway. Unfortunately that was the only chance I had to play it, I was 5 then. I've tried time and again to get money and swing for my own Saturn and NiGHTS (Burning Rangers is also pretty high on that list), but I've had no luck with putting any money together. I'm hoping this will change.

I actualy didn't want to like or play NiGHTS. I was a giant Knuckles fangirl and thought the NiGHTS game would usher in the end of the Sonic franchise. Then the Director of Sega America sent me a copy of the game along with a jester hat before it came out and told me to give it a chance. I moaned about it at first. Fell in love with it after about a week, then it was Knuckles who? XD

The inner sonic fan in me feels no remorse ahah.

THEN BEGAN THE ONSLAUGHT D:<

*bites Dan* Hey you seen it in STC? I had my NiGHTS art printed in there. Me and KiaraNeko here were the only 2 folk to ever draw NiGHTS in its run.

I got into NiGHTS after a friend of mine did. She knew about it and told me a little about the game, and then she showed me TRiPPY's deviantART page on DA. I think it was in... 2002? I don't remember XD but after seeing her work I was blown away and decided to do a little more game research about NiD. I read that it was a wonderful game for its time, the music was good, the game play was good, basically in the reviews I dug up it was a 10/10. So I decide that I want to play the game. I became even more compelled to play the game after learning a little more about it from a different perspective from TRiPPY's site/devART page.

And one day, after totally begging my mom to tears to get the game, I went on eBay, saw a Sega Saturn and the game for sale and bought both. I got the game first, so for about a good week I was staring at it wondering how my experience with the game would be. And then the Saturn came and I played it that day at my grandma's daycare. I didn't really get into the game at first because everytime I shut it off, I had to start all over because I didn't have a saving cartridge. But then one day I finally got to the last level on Claris' side and I was just hit with realization. Like everything I should have seen before just hit me in that last level through the music, the scenery, everything.

And ever since I've been a proud NiD fan.

The first time I saw NiGHTS was in an advertisement in a GanGan (or KoroKoro?) manga book in Japan. The look and style really caught my attention of how it reminded me of Astal. So when I went back to the states I made sure to buy it when I had the chance.... Stupid as I was back then, I found out the USA version couldn't play on my white sega saturn. ;_; So I had to return it and wait for my grandparents to send me a Japanese version in Christmas. EVENTULLY I got it, played it, and forever loved it. :3

Well, my Uncle has/always will be(en) a video game junkie. When the Sega Saturn First came out, he had it, of course, and when ever I went to visit him and my aunt, he would let me play the NiGHTS demo disk. There was always something about that game that I loved.

Fast-forward to twelve years from then, when that same Sega Saturn is god knows where, and I have discovered the internet. ON day on DA, someone by the name of Jofinin (jof jof jof jof) had a link in their journal to this site, and here I am now, a complete NiGHTS newbie, but I hope to learn, and get to play NiD before JoD comes out.

I consider it a miracle I ever found out about NiGHTS at all. ^^;; Somehow I missed all the commercials and other advertising, so it was really down to sheer chance that I found...

The NiGHTS Into Dreams players guide. (Prima or Brady, can't remember, too lazy to look right now XD)

I found it while browsing through other game guides at my local Babbage's and saw the title, got REALLY curious, and pulled it out and looked at it. I ended up falling in love right there. NiGHTS just jumped out at me, as did the story and other information within. I bought the book right then and there (twas the end of '97), but I didn't get the game until I finished 8th grade in '98. I already owned a Saturn, and my parents bought me the game as a reward for achieving straight A's for the first (and last) time.

I've been flying high ever since. ^_^

My friend Andrew got me in to NiGHTS. Back when the Saturn came out I couldn't afford one so I would sometimes borrow his Saturn. Andrew had the Christmas Demo, I couldn't get enough of NiGHTS. I didn't have my own Saturn till 9 years later. That's right it took me nine years to find a Saturn and a copy of NiGHTS into Dreams, still it was worth it. I have the full version and the Christmas Demo

For me, it was Phantasy Star Online for GameCube. It had a NiGHTS quest in which the reward was a downloadable GBA NiGHTS minigame. Other than the two minutes I had played of Saturn NiGHTS on a store demo, this was really my first (and only) significant NiGHTS experience. I thought even this simplified version was great. I'd love a chance to get to play the real thing for a decent amount of time, one of these days.

I have a DeviantART account under the name ChaotixJewels. It has both Sonic and NiGHTS FanArt and FanFics.
I got into NiGHTS because my brother has a SEGA Saturn and the NiGHTS game. I thought it was an interesting game and before I knew it I was hooked. It also helped that my brother had a couple of issues of the NiGHTS Archie comic, so that helped. and then finally it was sights like this that really helped me get into this totally awsome game!

I actually saw NiGHTS first through Sonic Adventure about 5 years ago, and forgot about it until I bought Sonic Riders, and unlocked AiAi, Ulala (wooh!) and....NiGHTS....I suddenly remembered my dear old DreamCast, and began to play and play the Casinopolis level to see how much I could gather of this purple jester. Then I discovered the NiD.com place and Wikipedia. And now I have the Christmas NiGHTS game. And a Wii.

cameos, and then I learned about NiGHTS. I've been seeing him since Sonic Adventure, but I had no idea who he was until like two years ago. For the record, Sega advertised NiGHTS very well, long after the game was released.

I remember back in 1996, me and my older cousin read a lot of video game magazines. My older cousin had a PS1 and I had a Sega Saturn. I remember seeing a strange looking purple colored character. I didn't care who that was, but I was trying to look for an article concerning a new Sonic game that's coming to the Sega Saturn. I had my mother buy me a Sega Saturn so I could play that new Sonic game. While I waited for that Sonic game to be released, I played a few other games that caught my interest. Near the beginning of my third grade year in elementary school, my older cousin told me about NiGHTS and why I should buy it. He told me it could be the next great game on the Sega Saturn. He also pointed out pictures from the game. Me and my older cousin also saw the commercial of the game. This commercial...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4upYRpHAWs

After hearing many things about the new game and seeing the commercial, I was worried that the 3-D controller was required to play the game. Me and my family were going to buy a copy of the game that came with the 3-D controller, but when we first played the game in stores, I've learned that you could also play the game with a regular Saturn controller. So we ended up buying a copy of the game itself, no 3-D controller included. Once I got the game, me, my younger brother, and my older cousin were addicted to it.

Oooh, here we go.^^

When the saturn first came out i was eager to have it. Got it on christmas, my parents didn't buy me a game starting off, so i only was able to play the demo disk......... that demo was NiGHTS. I was curious about it, then i played it for the first time....i was in awe of the graphics and the beautiful music. Then came the game play, it was too addictive for words spending hours on the demo alone. Even when i wasn't playing it, I listen to the music tracks on the demo before i went to sleep at night."no joke" Since then I've been a less obssesed more avid fan of NiGHTS, then i went to trippy's earlier websites.....and it was like throwing napalm on a campfire. Needless to say I've been a fan of NiGHTS from the start.

I actually forgot if I bought NiGHTS along with my Saturn, or if I already had it.. I just know that I heard good things when the game came out, and it also helped that it was Sonic Team's new game.. I went to Toys R Us to buy it. I played the demo they had in the store a bit and it seemed real fun. I got home, started playing and loved it.

Through Christmas NiGHTS over my friends grandma's house. It wasn't really even the game itself but it was the "Dreams Dreams" song. I got so addicted to that song. I spent at least a year looking for it. Now I've got so many different versions of it, it doesn't even make sense :P
