I sometimes dabble in RPGs, but usually only 16-bit RPGs. I never really liked the 3D stuff.I like Adventure, Platforming, RPGs and MMOs. Sometimes I prefer Social games, where I can talk and not have to be challenged.

Other is Sandbox Games, such as Grand Theft Auto an Destroy All Humans. Those games are, like, heaven 8D!
I didn't add RPG, but, in particular, I like very much Okage: Shadow King. Evil King Stan is just.... awesome 8D!

Well I like Sonic Riders...but thats about it. I guess NiGHTS fans are more into things with more fantsty in them and less realism. I don't know.Funny how there aren't any fans of NiGHTS that also like sports and racing games. I guess that says a lot.

I thought that Gran Turismo was pretty good. It was just way to long.Fighters are my favorite games. Always have been. Action games are a close second. I dabble in all genres exept sports. Most of those games suck and I hate EA with passion. Racers are fine as long as they aren't sims like Gran Turismo.

I kind of like RPGs too but I really have to be in the mood D= And some simple sports games are a laugh.

Platformers, simulation. And other- those 'interactive novels' and point and click games (or are those under adventure?) are awesome (does Phoenix Wright go in those catagories?).

Most point and click games (Police Quest, King's Quest, the Mickey Mouse game for Gamecube that came out awhile back >>, Leisure Suit Larry O_o, Secret of Monkey Island, Manic Mansion, Grim Fandango, Myst, basically anything Sierra or LucasArts had made) are all considered Adventure games. I don't play a lot of them, though >_>. Police Quest is probably the only one that I've really liked. It is pretty fun; It was made by an ex-Police Officer who now creates Video Games.

Like I always say: "Never shoot down a game until you experience it first-hand."I never discriminate.
But, then again, that doesn't mean you have to give up your game prejudices!

Its classified action-adventure, so I typically go with that. Although I can see the confusion, because NiD has a lot of qualities of a racing game and a flying game, to name a few. But for this poll, we will consider NiD as an action/adventure game.Question, though: What genre would NiGHTS be considered? I've heard many people say it would be considered a platformer and I know it's classified as adventure. Although it has similarities to that of a platformer, it doesn't really have all the elements. I'm guessing it could be considered an Action/Adventure game. But then again, it seems more like a mix of that and a platformer. What do you think?
