I was just Ebaying NiGHTS when I came across it... it seems like a mass collection of information on the original game itself. Maps of the levels, the Maren, everything. I dont know if anyone's seen it before, though...

I think TRiPPY may already have it, but here's the lowdown anyhow. It's a lovely book that not only features some nice development artwork (which can be seen on TRiPPY's site), but offers descriptions of each character - human, Maren, minion, and Pian alike - the items and their functions, tips and combos to pull of each trick in mid-air, and 2D maps of every Mare/course, pointing out hidden treasures and pathways. Plus, there's confirmation of the King Pian, just-for-kicks tricks to try, mention of the CD-ROM goodies, an interview with (I believe) Mr. Naka himself in the back, and best of all, 'Dream Dreams' sheet music! It's a sweet collector's goodie!
I can't translate a whole lot though.. gomen ne..!

Send some scans over to TRiPPY. She can put them up on the site and someone else can translate. Heck, Jof might be able to help.No way! I just won that off eBay a while back! XD Though I don't read too much Japanese...

Wait...I could have sworn I have seen this book somewhere. Are you guys sure TRiPPY doesn't already have this book? I don't want to buy it if someone already it and can put it on the net.
buy it and give it to me...BUY IT AND GIVE IT TO ME!

>.< I barly have enough money to live off of until January!buy it and give it to me...BUY IT AND GIVE IT TO ME!
Anyway, I am glad to see someone else already has it. It would be great if you could scan some of the pages. I can understand that 128 pages would be tedious though.
I may still buy this...its kinda rare. In fact a lot of the books used to be for sale on ebay but now many of them are gone now. There is only one book I still see and that is the one that comes with the Sonic Advernture 2 stickers. I need to think some more though...

I've seen it on ebay a number of times, theres another two (I think) player's guides floating about out there as well.
Heck, Jof might be able to help.
I wouldn't count on it : P. Thrippa is the one doing the translations, I'm the messenger boy, and I'm not about to dump a whole lot of work onto her atop the Storybook : P.
As for TRiPPY not showing, she's having some work done on her house by gas pipe people, so she's MIA for now.

Then send a note to TRiPPY and she will probably put you to work on what really needs to be translated. I am so happy to hear there are so many people that can speak Japanese on this site. I wish I could. I should really learn.I can speak Japanese. I need to see the text first, though.
