I've been meaning to pick it up for the longest. There was the manga, and the anime, and the LIVE ACTION MOVIE(s).

Great manga. The anime is also pretty sweet. I seen a bit of it, they did a crazy good job.

Personally I rathered the movies to the anime and manga... the story sort of spiraled a bit out of control once Melo and whats his name were introduced. The movies wrapped up the main story arcs rather nicely...

I managed to get my elder and younger sisters to watch Death Note and now they're hooked. Death Note is really a complicated series in regards to the characters, Light could have been a favorite character, but his ambitions are sort of making me wonder whether or not he's crazy (I was feeling the 'let's get rid of all the bad people' up until he started talking about being 'the God of a new world' :blink: ).

I can say that Light and L are the first characters that kept me on the fence when it came to taking sides.

Death Note is the most interesting anime I've ever seen in my life. Last episode I saw was 10 but I'll watch the rest later for sure.

AH DEATHNOTE :angry:, I LOVE THE ANIME. But, the US is going to Ruin it with thier Dubs like they do with other anime, anyways. I just finished reading the frist book :angry:


I actually wouldn't be surprised if the dub turned out pretty good. I's being dubbed by the Vancouver bunch, not those hacks in Texas. Those Canadian voice actors have done some damn good VOs in the past. You can't tell me casting Brian Drummond as Ryuk is anything but a great choice.

Oh man I love Death Note. I baught all the manga, the ending made me cry... especially when *IS ATTACKED BY RANDOM FLYING CATS TO AVOID SPOILAGE* GUAAAHHH~~~

Anyways, I've only seen a few episodes of the anime, but I want to see more~ but due to my lack of any decent telvion I'll have to wait till it comes to dvd...and I have money...yeah...that could be a while.

L is my favorite character~ he's so cute with his strawberry eating ness. yup.

I actually own a deathnote...though it doesn't work. I tested it one day out of stupidity XD So instead I just write down my plans for world domination inside...oops I mean my happy fuzzy plans for...er....cookie bakeing yes...

I have an L stuffie too...XD I want more death note stuff.

Started reading it, was nice for a while, but the dramatic suspense had made it seem too long so I stopped reading out of boredom.
(Not saying its bad it just seems a bit long in my eyes. But its like the creator had dragged it out way too long.)
