Persona Masks Seem Useful

This one from Twilight Adventure especially.
Seriously though, from various information we've gathered, do these seem like they have much of a point yet other than hindering the gameplay before you get them? Various things, which I believe we are no longer allowed to mention, point to no.
I wonder if they'll come into their own in the Reala fight, that could well be based around them judging by the horrible sounding new design.
So yes, anyone seeing any real uses for them?

Now I can see NiGHTS putting on a mask to turn him into a purple lawnmower and start flying around. O.o
Anyway, the mask could be a minor thing in the level. Like a tiny optional power up like the power ups from the old game. However they may play a big party in fighting Reala and Wizman. In fact, I think this might have already been mentioned, but maybe after NiGHTS defeats Reala he takes the mask and needs to use it to defeat Wizeman. Just a thought. I mean, I always noticed the mask in the title so I would think it would be something for NiGHTS not just Reala. But who knows.

I'm sure most of us agree that masks might make the game more interesting. But the real question is, what does NiGHTS turn into?
I'm not sure you were here for it when we talked about it, but it had been confirmed that NiGHTS would have mask to turn him into a dragon, rocket, and dolphin. Now we have not heard anything about them since then and nothing seemed to be there in the demo in Germany so we don't know if this will stay or not.

I didn't hear that, no. I was actually hoping NiGHTS would turn more into a mermaid, like in the original.I'm not sure you were here for it when we talked about it, but it had been confirmed that NiGHTS would have mask to turn him into a dragon, rocket, and dolphin. I think SOMETHING said SOMEONE took a few seconds to transform into SOMETHING when entering water. I'm guessing this means that SOMEONE will become a mer-SOMETHING in this game too. Catch my (something) drift?

As stated multiple times, Reala was seen wearing a mask. So, the Persona masks are probably still in the game.I'm not sure you were here for it when we talked about it, but it had been confirmed that NiGHTS would have mask to turn him into a dragon, rocket, and dolphin. So, if the Persona masks are still in the game and they're working well, why isn't Sega showing them off?
I can only assume that they're keeping it under wraps for gameplay or story purposes. You know, kinda like how Nintendo withheld information on the sailing parts of Wind Waker. Or how it was ages before we learned that Link turns into a wolf in Twilight Princess. Or how Bungie divulged the entire control scheme for Halo 3... except for what the X button does.
Any way you slice it, there's something going on behind the scenes regarding the Persona masks and we may not know what it is until after the game is released.

There keeping everything underwraps. They don't like to talk about much at all. We are lucky to have all the info we have now. But you may be on to something. Maybe they have something really important to do with the story line after all. We shall see...As stated multiple times, Reala was seen wearing a mask. So, the Persona masks are probably still in the game.

They're especially aggressive in the US. I was attacked a few days ago by three of them, and I had to fight them off with some metal piping I found in an alleyway.Flying mowers. It's becoming a growing problem these days.
Oh, and look what I found!

You are so wrong. See, NiGHTS could use those machine gun hands to scare off Wiseman and the Nightmarens! He could be like, 'Say hello to my little friend', or 'You feel lucky, punks?', or some catchy one liner and then turn his enemies into swiss cheese.Uhhh... no (1:27, specifically).

I found this at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NiGHTS:_Journ...med_information and it talks about the Persona Masks at one point.

Well, I am now, anyways.
'twould make for an interesting conversation.
In all seriousness, I would love to see a combat-oriented mask.
