From the day 2 news we got today, we know that Helen and William ("H&W," if you will) both have dialogue. So, what do you want their voices to be like and who should voice them?
Here are my takes:
Helen -- After thinking about it long and hard, I started hearing the voice of Mimi from Digimon Season 1. Philece Sampler has also done the voice of Silvia from Viewtiful Joe and Princess Peach herself. With these roles, she's shown that she can walk the line between stereotypical blonde and tough heroine. Throw in experience with child voices and you have the perfect voice for Helen.
William -- A challenge. Finding a good voice for a young boy hero is quite difficult. After much consideration, I came up with Brad Swaile. Why? One word: Gundam. Swaile is the English voice of Amuro frakking Ray, arguably the greatest Gundam pilot in the franchise's long history and a perfect example of a young boy (not as young as William, granted, but still) who overcomes hundreds of inner demons, fights valiantly in time of war and shows enormous strength. Swaile also voiced Quattre R. Winner of Gundam Wing. Hated the character due to Godawful dialogue, but there was a tenderness in that voice that would do well for William. Swaile also voiced Lan of Rockman.exe. While I've never actually seen that series, I know that Lan is the young, heroic protagonist, which is basically William's job description as well.
So, those are my picks. How about yours?

William can be heard at the very begining of the NiGHTS voice clip before NiGHTS. I've heard twice now that the child voice actors are actualy really good, and considering people are being positive about NiGHTS himself, that can only be a good thing.

I can barely hear the voices on the clip but i agree, the child voices are good. It's a nice change actually.

On the topic of NiGHTS' voice actress, the positive reaction seems confined to this forum, other places seem to hate it. William doesn't seem too bad.

I can't hear William's voice in that clip. It's just NiGHTS talking, the way I hear it.

He's the one that goes "HEY HE RAN OOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRFFFFFFFFFF". I dislike Americans imitating our wonderful accents.
Pip pip.
