Rai Kamishiro's debut (and only) album, Electric Sheep.
She's one of my favorite nerdcore artists and I'm currently making her a Metal Man from Mega Man 2 sprite out of Perler beads and this makes me happier than it probably should.

Even though Rai is part of the subculture, she's actually more techno-y J-pop-y than she is rap though. But she references Space Channel 5 in multiple songs and has done Jet Set Radio Future cosplay, which is how you know she's legit awesome.

Not quite as awesome sounding as the cover art, but still a decent album. I picked it up on vinyl (on clearance) earlier today.

(actually I'm listening to it as part of the fancy-pants Misfits box set, but that cover art isn't as cool, image-wise.)
LET IT BE SAID: I'm in the Halloween spirit 100%.

It's a little sketchy looking, but there's a Paypal link on that LJ page. But I can vouch for it! *thumbs up*

Rob Zombie may not make good movies, but he sure as hell knows how to make an awesome compilation album.

I direct you to Grindhouse's Werewof Women of the SS fake trailer. If anything can make you like Rob Zombie, it's Sybil Danning and Udo Kier as Nazi scientists/lounge singers/werewolves.Rob Zombie may not make good movies, but he sure as hell knows how to make an awesome compilation album.

Bobby "Borris" Pickett is awesome though. The Monster Mash is one of those songs that is just SO PERFECT! I need to see the movie based on it at some point...

There's a movie? Mad Monster Party is also required Halloween viewing.I should have qualified that as "live-action, feature-length" movies. Because I also thought The Haunted World of El Superbeasto was funny, if in a stupid way.

Never released on DVD. I don't care if it gets terrible reviews, it looks like it could be considerable bad-movie-fun.

To quote my friend Willrock: "THIS is how you make chiptunes!"
I love how Namco loves to make remixes with Pacman in their own games. The sounds are familiar to one of the widest ranges of audiences, and they never lose their charm.
