We have one similar in the 'Other Games' section, so why not here x3?
Who's your top ten favorite musicians/bands?
(With #1 being 'most liked', to #10 being 'least liked' ). My list changes a lot, with every music I hear, and my mood.:
#1 The Rolling Stones
#2 Pink Floyd
#3 The Police
#4 Led Zepplin
#5 Wolfmother
#6 Nirvana
#7 DEVO
#8 Johnny Cash
#9 Jimi Hendrix
#10 The Beatles
Yep... lots of Classic Rock here x3. 8/10 (9/10 if you include Nirvana, which some people do now along with Green Day O_O ) is Classic Rock x3.
There's probably a lot more modern stuff I left out, because I haven't listened to them a lot (Garbage, Eurythmics, Guns n' Roses, etc), but, that's my list. YOURS x3?!

Alice in Chains
Nirvana
Faith No More
Pearl Jam
The Pillows

Top ten? Hah! I can narrow that down to two!
1. Daft Punk
2. Jamiroquai
Admittedly those are the only two I care about, but that's beside the point. There's also a handfull of game composers I like a lot, but I don't care to list them right now. I'll just say this: bigwigs like Koji Kondo and Nobuo aren't among that handfull.

In order:
Skillet
Thousand Foot Krutch
Linkin Park
Disturbed
-no order-
Three Days Grace
Drowning Pool
KJ-52
Johnny Cash
Common
Rob Zombie
And many, many more from all different genres. I really don't pay much attention to a bands/songs genre. If I like the music and lyrics, or lack of lyrics for instrumental, then I'll listen.

Top ten, eh? Hmmm.. I'm not sure I have exactly 10, as I've got tons of single songs that I really like that my Sirius radio has introduced me to, but:
-no particular order-
Joe Satriani
Pink Floyd
Buckethead
KMFDM
Steve Vai
Nine Inch Nails
Rudesquad
Guess that's only 7. I love all genres, but mostly instrumental guitar and video game soundtracks (could ramble on for hours about that). Love me some classical and techno as well. Fairly unbiased as to what I listen to, although the 'heavy modern rock' scene is really starting to grow redundant thanks to a local station here where I live.

I just adore music, let's put it at that.

This amuses me because my best friend in college is named Emily and also goes by the name "Project Autumn". When she found out about Emilie Autumn she was all "mah identity has been stolens!"
I've never actually listened to her music but I imagine it might be something I would like.
