I've been wondering about this. Whenever I'm referring to two or more, I usually say Nightmaren, instead of Nightmarens. What do you say, and is anyone sure what it REALLY is?

The plural of Nightmare is Nightmares and if a Nightmaren is that of a Nightmare then the plural is mostlikely Nightmarens...
But I could be wrong...

I use Nightmaren because that's what the manual uses.

Nightmarens
more commonly, the slang term, 'marens.
Doesn't really matter, imo. The last thing we need is a flame war between 'maren and 'marens.

I sometimes use Maren, sometimes Marens, and same with the Night added on.
Thinking about it, I suppose Ekairi is right, but both sound right to me. Has anyone from Sega taked about all the maren(s) as a whole in an interview or anything, I wonder?

The manual refers to them as a collective "Nightmaren", e.g. "[...] and through his creations the Nightmaren [...]"
I don't think it's wrong to use either of them though, it's a matter of personal taste. (Even if "marens" sounds a bit weird to my ears.)

I agree. Sometimes "Nightmaren" sounds better in a sentance, other times "NightmarenS" gets the win. Depends on the situation and/or mood to me. They both mean the same thing after all.The manual refers to them as a collective "Nightmaren", e.g. "[...] and through his creations the Nightmaren [...]"

I'm going to agree with the thought of it depends on personal taste but say mine is "marens" because "maren" sounds a bit weird to me. XD
I still hold by my previous statement on this thread though.
