Okay I was looking for Burning Rangers stuffs on youtube, and I was wondering if any of you knew anything about this:

Okay, WTH, I don't recall that song... I have personal speculations, and this has probably been explained somewhere on the interweb that is acessable, but I figured one of you guys may know, and I am going on vacation over the weekend so I dont have time to look it up this second.

I don't know a lot about Burning Rangers. But, if I do recall, it uses a similar engine to NiGHTS Into Dreams, and I think one of the people you have to rescue is Claris and Elliot.

Aside from Claris and Elliot making cameos in it, it's off-topic. However, instead of locking it I'm going to be sneaky and use it to get some answers about the cameos... (Mods, kick me if you think I did wrong)

See, one of the most popular "proofs" for NiGHTS being male is a line one of the kids say when they have been rescued. I have never seen any screenshots of this, nor a quote of what the kid is saying, just basically "It says so in Burning Ranger, so there!". The people I've seen using this argument apparently wants people to just to accept it as truth, or something ^^;

Basically I want to know what the kids are saying and/or have screenshots of them. (If nothing else because, hey, cameo!)

Actually, same for me! I been wanting to see that for myself. I think I saw a screen cap, but the text was unreadable, because it was a tiny JPEG. But then again, I wouldn't say to the masses "Well, its official! NiGHTS has a wee wee!" just yet. Because I say "he" even though I don't really think he's a guy, its just what pops out of my mouth. And as I said before, typing and saying "he/she" all the time is damned annoying. And I would think saying "it" would just be a little weird, so maybe they just chose one.

The NiGHTS cameo in PSO, they actually refer to him as "a man" so...hehe. I think SEGA were just being lazy. When are they never? XD

As for Burning Rangers. The kids in Burning Rangers do indeed say 'he'. When you rescue a person in the game they send you mail to say thanks and stuff. Elliot says something along the lines of "Thanks for saving me" blah blah blah "You should meet my friend, NiGHTS. He's really cool" or something along those lines.
TRiPPY owns the game so we'll check it out at some point. She ain't played it for a while now but we'll look in to it. She needs to anyway since we need to open up a page on the website about NiGHTS' cameos.

Oh. Also. As for this being off topic. Mods and Admins, let this slide for now since ..er...you know what we've been talking about in terms of the forum? Well, more than likely this topic can be moved to it when it's all good to go.

Actually my main question was regarding the song in the first clip. I don't remember it on the soundtrack at all or hearing of it related to the game. I was wondering if anyone knew what was all about.

Anyway yes, I figured same engine and cameos would make this legal, but it was gray. Oh well. Sorry for giving you guys a... uh.. moral delema.

If anything it seems like an early concept or something, but I have yet to properly research if anyone knows anything on the intarweb. I'll poke around later.

Mystery solved. Okay, I feel stupid now that I know what this is. I noted that I didn't hear Burning Rangers during that whole thing I previously assumed to be an old promo or something. I had herad tokusou sentai dekaranger tho. Figured it may have been a discarded name. I recognized the word sentai (meaning super team, often associated with the Power Rangers type shows.) Now that I took the time to google Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, I find out that it is in fact the Japanese version of Power Rangers S.P.D. Someone must have been just dicking around and drawing paralels or something.

So yeah, I'm retarded, but it is still pretty damn funny when you watch them consecutively.
