As for Jackle making an appearance... I'm not very much liking the idea that he would appear as a minion/miniboss-thingie. I can't really pinpoint why, maybe it's because I quite like when you fight several small, similar looking minions like in the original rather than just a single specific one.

If Jackle would appear in JoD, I'd rather have him as a mini-boss or something like that. Still, I'd much more prefer if he DIDN'T show up at all. Reala is a different story, like others have said before. Reala is special, whereas Jackle is...not as much.

But then again, he could appear in a modified version, just like Puffy/Phuckle.

I don't think he will be. I think the top three, Wizeman, Reala, and NiGHTS, may be the only ones.

Technically, the Nightmaren are the race that Wizeman started. So no, he's not his own creation, and thus, not a Nightmaren.

I believe Jackle will appear but as a cameo appreance. SEGA's good at that if nothing else. Maybe a sign in the city in a cutscene will say something like Jackle's Psychic Readings or something like that.

Wow, I just got a great idea. What if Nightmare, in its entirety, was like a city like New York, entirely at night, with constant rain and stuff. Everywhere there'd be Nightmaren, roaming around. It'd be the opposite of Nightopia's natural wonders.

That's a nice idea. I thought of something similar but it was just the evil dudes taking over Nightopia and turning it black with constant dark skies and dead plants everywhere.
