Yeah, so I have not posted in like forever, so I first just want to say sorry for being inactive for so long, if anyone misses me at all. :P

I really couldn't decide what thread to put this in, seeing that it doesn't really fit in any but i figured that it related to artwork and such. (And my ability to draw without it becoming crap with my mouse lol.) All my art in Okaki got deleted too D: but I has them saved, the good ones at least XD.

I would just like to know if anyone can recommend me any decent Tablets for an affordable price (min. wage sucks)

I'm not worried about size considering it will be mostly used on the Oekaki boards (main reason why I'm getting one.)

I'm just concerned with price and the pen, cause I don't want it to be battery powered and I don't know what sensitivity's are good.

Thank you! :3

I'm using an A5 sized tablet from Trust, and it works great. It's a lot cheaper than a Wacom, their customer support is great and over all it works wonders. If you're only going to use it for oekaki I really recommend Trust. Mine is used quite a lot (average 8 hours a day for over a year now) , and I've had some problems with the pen but apart from that: nothing.
The pen is battery powered though, but the battery lasts for a very long time.

Never tried a Wacom, so I can't really compare. : /

Hey 8D! I missed you ;-;!

I got a Wacom tablet, that is currently collecting dust D8! I don't draw on the oekaki as much >>.

This one.: http://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Graphire4-4x5-...1087&sr=8-6

It's kinda expensive now, I know >>. It was, I think, $30 or $50 when I got mine. I think.

Still, the Wacom's are pretty good. They're pretty durable, and mine came with Photoshop :P !

I have a 9x12 wacom intuos3 that I absolutely love
yes it's way expensive, but the size and resolution are absolutely wonderful for detailed art projects, pressure sensitivity is a god-send, also comes with several dumbed down high end art programs like Photoshop Elements and Painter Essentials. I love the thing, but then again I'm going to art school next year and I consider this to be a necessary investment. If your only going to be using it for oekaki then go with a cheap one, but if your serious about your art and think that you may make some money off it, then go with a good wacom, you can't get any better as far as tablets go.
