(Well, at the time I'm writing this, it's Nov. 1st, so technically it started yesterday, but I was too busy loving it/crying over the first hour of Mother 3)

 

If you turn on your Saturn with your Christmas NiGHTS disc inserted, do the same with a modded PS2 and it's remake, or boot up your digital HD copy, you'll be greeted with the Winter NiGHTS title screen, accompanied by one of the best tracks in any Saturn game, Winter Sleep. Playing the Christmas mode of any version causes Claris & Elliot to wear exclusive Winter outfits, only seen in November and the first week or two of December, and another great track, Jack Frost's Chime, plays during gameplay. Of course, if you're a hardcore fan you already knew this, but I just wanted to remind everyone. Happy almost-Christmas!
