I find it enjoyable to play out of the collection on the disc, and as Zero-Shift said, it still retains that same whimsical feeling from the original levels.
On a side note, I fail dramatically at the Hard level of this game; I find it more enjoyable to just glide around and stare at the scenery <3

Overall I loved it, great graphics and gameplay. I think its the best appearance of NiGHTS in a game since the originals.
Only real negative is that you cant really play it for more than 10 minutes without your arms aching

I agree.. the pictures we've seen don't look all that great. I hope that they improve! Can I point out that just because a game is newer, doesn't mean it'll have better graphics than an older game. Hell, most Wii launch games were sub-GC standard. And unless JoD has some nice, flashy, unheard of things going on with the graphics, then it's not going to be much of a looker. The shots so far don't exactly paint a pretty picture.

What part of "the graphics aren't great because the producers haven't perfected them yet" do you people not understand?!
Purgatory, lol thats what I meant by SSS having better graphics, in the sense that JoD isnt even finished yet, let alone out.

But either way I was just pointing out that the graphics were perhaps the minigames only strong point.

Yes, nice looking game, nice enough level design, but the controls only really worked when you leveled up enough, so the game wasn't fun until the second play through. This ruined what could have been an okay game.
I dunno, I found the control enhancing skills...too control enhancing. The Quick Mega Step made it too hard to pinpoint where I wanted hedgy to go.

You're supposed to find a balance, you don't just use every skill. I just experimented until I found a way to make the game control OK.
Well, anyway, I don't think this RUINED it. It was a fun game IMO; it had a decent story, as you said, good graphics, witty banter...but no NiGHTS cameo. Oh well. It was a steaming load better than Sonic the Hedgehog though.

VS
Of course, one image may just have a lower resolution than the other, and the one on the top is too bright, but.... yeah. I'm thinking the release date is most likely gonna end up getting pushed more towards November/X-Mas in the States (and all over) for more time for graphics/bug fixes, soo.... we'll just have to wait and see .
