It'd really suck to have the main character of SonicTeam's second most popular franchise (I'm pretty sure, lord knows it aint Samba de Amigo) locked away in a time-sensitive event which is impossible to play again without use of a time machine. I'm hoping there'll be one each year in July, as that was the month NiD was released, and maybe even a yearly Christmas NiGHTS event, obviously in December.

Yeah I really wish they'd fix some of Runners' issues, mainly making it less frustrating to acquire bonus characters. I'd rather be incentivized to gain a million gold rings to buy NiGHTS than to work my ass off getting 50 Red Rings only to have a mere shot of getting the character I want. Last time all I got was the Pian.

I haven't even played Sonic Runners in months - and I heard that there were some big issues with it that people were extremely unhappy about. I stopped playing just before any of that so that's only what I've heard. If they had another NiGHTS event or made it a little easier to get characters then I might reconsider playing again.

Well they're cancelling the game on the 27th of July in Japan so unfortunately I don't think we'll be seeing much of the purple jester again on it D:

SEGA deemed it a financial failure. This is why games that require constantly being online to even run are the worst thing known to mankind.
