Hey guys, I thought I would share this with you and you can take it for what it's worth. For now you can consider it a rumour, but I trust that this information is true.

I recently received an email that SEGA has created a patch, and although I don't have details on when it will be released or the specifics of the patch it's good to know that they are fixing some aspects of the game. I will not be sharing the email with you or who it is from as I don't want this person to get in trouble. I will say that it was NOT from TRiPPY or DiGi.

So be happy for now and trust that something is coming soon! I can't wait to try it out myself! :)

Given the low sales of the game I wasn't expecting a patch at this point. This is unexpected but very good news. Hopefully it can helps the sales recover a bit. Releasing a patch can basically get the game to appear in the news again, which is essentially "free" publicity. Thanks for the info, Charlie!

I hope they're planning to do more than just reenable analog. Not like it matters for me at this point... Won't have a console to play the game on after next Wednesday. <_<

Interesting to hear. I want to push Sega as hard as possible to make other lost features available as free DLCs, like 2 player mode. It's in their best interests to give the game all the replay value it's meant to have.

@viperxmns it really is but the fact it passed there quality control and the qa testers the way it did, I have to say Sega complete dropped the ball agian like always and they always seem to be just fine with it.

After I heard about the control issues I decided not to buy it. I want it for the nostalgia factor and if hes gonna fly like I have seen(one video I saw compares paraloops with a emulated version and ps3 and its just rediculous) not to mention various other things as well. Im not gonna support a product like that.

I did send a email not mentioning I didnt buy it so they know of a interested customer.

If they do indeed patch it, I will buy it immediately. Otherwise im going to patiantly wait till the android emulation gets updated so I can play it on my phone anywhere and exactly how I remember it. I like seeing the Saturn boot up sequence anyway and knowing the image havent been touch since 1996. But a HD one would be nice if it was the definitive version and this is excellent news regardless of being sourceless.

As a player of the original Saturn version and an owner of the XBLA version I can confirm unequivocally that it has been patched and now feels just right so I suggest you go buy it immediately. ;)
