Hey guys,

just a friendly reminder to give star ratings to the port I'm not sure how rating works on PSN, but for XBLA you go to the game purchase page (or) your game collection page and give it 5 stars.

It may seem like a small thing but sometimes having a good star rating and reviewer rating can sway people into buying the game who are new to it. So use all your profiles and rate rate rate.

Consider that an order, lol. *whipwhip*

Can I still rate it even if I don't own the game?

I don't think steam has a rating system for games.

You can't rate without buying on XBL either. Edit: ^^ Oh wow you can. I'd just never tried to.

Done.

Hm.. seems there's more than one payoff with XBLA; I guess since unlike PSN it's a paid service they offer more options, like giving a trial for NiD whereas PSN has no free demo version for NiGHTS. Sonic Adventure 2 yes, but not NiD.

Well, off to XBLA. :D Both glad and confused why they let free people do that.

I don't want to rate it until the game gets patched.

It is required that all downloadable (except Games on Demand) games have demos on Xbox LIVE.

Done. It's still worth five stars to me, despite the control differences.

5 stars, done! You know, I have been playing for a while and I really don't know what is it you mean about the controls. Feels ok to me. Could you elaborate a little? Maybe I got used to it?

If you're used to the 8-way D-Pad it won't be a big deal. The analog stick behaves more like that. It's easier to fly straight now, but responsiveness and fluidity is lost. Draikin made a video comparison in the controls thread.

The game climbed back to 6th position today in the US XBLA daily sales. The ratings don't seem to get updated though, not sure what's up with that. I'm guessing that only happens every few days.

OH! I see I see! yeah, My 3D controller broke way back in the day, so I've been using D pad ever since Posted Image. By enabling analog on the emulator ( which made me feel like I didn't know the game at all!Posted Image) I Notice the earth to sky difference! The 360 directions of the analog stick are gone. D pad and analog stick handle exactly the same wayPosted Image.
