I just bought the game on PSN after getting the XBLA version. Normally I only get the PC version, but since that one isn't out yet and this is of course NiGHTS we're talking about, I decided to make an exception and support the game by getting multiple copies. Not just because I still regard NiGHTS as the best game ever, but also because it's really important that this game succeeds for us to see more Saturn remakes *cough*Panzer Dragoon*cough*.

So who's buying the game on multiple platforms?

Kinda fits in with the "Which console will you be getting the port for" topic.. but..
Multiple platforms, definitely. I don't care that's an extra $20-30 (if I end up with a 360) out of pocket, but I agree with showing support (and hoping that it'll encourage more ports).

ALL PLATFORMS. FULL POWAH.
This reminds me though, i haven't bought it on PS3 yet.... i need to steal Suzy's PS3 >_> I'm better on PS3 for NiGHTS.
Holding out for the PC version too since seeing it

Much like Dark Souls, I shall own this on every system I can (hell, make a Wii-U version when that launches too!) Steam will most likely be Day 1.
That said, waiting on any comments on a patch for Xbox. It isn't too serious, but I would like to beat Gilwing like I used to on my PS2 version every time. Got it on PS3 for now, love how most of my scores are in the top 100s at least, and I am nowhere near that good.

I am!!!
I actually haven't bought any versions yet, as my PS3 is at home and I'm away at college. But when I go home Tuesday, the PS3 version shall be MINE!!!!
Then I'll get the PC version once it's released so I can play it at school as well!

I apologize if this seems very impatient, but is there any word on the PC release date?
It doesn't SEEM like it'd take long, but I'm not a professional game dev. I'm guessing it's changing all the help menus to reflect the PC version, changing all the achievement triggers and code to work on steam, putting the store page and achievement pages up, and programming the launcher functions. It also might be because both SA2 and NiGHTS are getting worked on, since the other platforms had parallel releases.

I wonder if Sega's going to delay it due to the complaints about the controls. Either way, I still stand by my plan to get the PC version first. Even if a patch never comes out, people will mod the heck out of this game anyway.

Controls seem harder to hack than just modifying things like the link counter that are just variables.
SEGA didn't really fix anything wrong with Sonic 4 episode 1 after all that time on the consoles. Same with Episode 2 and that time during the leak. Not expecting them to fix anything here.
As far as modding, fixing the port would be best, but I'd love if someone could rip all the level and HUD textures and mod Reala, Christmas NiGHTS, Halloween NiGHTS, Twin Seeds dreamers, and Halloween dreamers into normal levels. Not really holding my breath here, but it'd be fun.

Looks like NiGHTS is at #3 in the top daily XBLA sales: http://marketplace.x...estSellingToday. Not a bad start. It could use a higher user rating though! If anyone here hasn't voted yet, please do (and preferable a good score ).

I already bought it for PS3, and I'm waiting for a PC version ^w^ If NiD was on more systems that I own, I'd definitely get it on all of them.

360 and waiting on PC. Gave 5 stars in spite of the control changes.

Could someone who owns both the XBox360 and PS3 version of the games compare the brightness of the two versions? I'm noticing what I believe is a problem with the XBox360 output settings of the game, and as a result of that the game looks darker than the PS3 version (at least that's how it would look to most people, even thought it's not actually related to brightness settings). It's a non-issue really, but I'd still like to confirm whether or not this is actually the case.

Since the PC version still hasn't come out, I double dipped and bought both the 360 and PS3 versions. The patch for the controls alone compelled me to buy two versions of the same game.

To many complaints about the controller issue...I lived just fine trough it and so can you. Anyway, I don't have a PS3 and not planning it, but if it comes out on Wii U I might just get it there again. The PC version...I doubt it. Im not much a PC gamer for the exception of my emulators...and those are still console games. WAY to many FPS.

I finally bought the game on XBLA.
It's just as amazing as I remember! I'm glad I waited for the patch.

Yes, but since Sega did patch the controls, I'm going to reward them by buying multiple copies. To many complaints about the controller issue...I lived just fine trough it and so can you.
