Read about it here.

"It was revealed earlier today that the manga series Aoi Sekai no Chushin de, which is based on the Nintendo/Sega console wars of the 90s, would be getting an anime adaptation sometime this fall. The characters are based off of various Sega and Nintendo franchises, including what appears to be Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star, Super Mario Bros., Pokemon, Metroid, and MOTHER. There’s no word on when exactly the anime series will start airing in Japan and whether or not it’ll come to North America at this time. But, knowing the internet, it’s very likely we’ll see a fansub show up on YouTube sometime after it airs."

Looking at the graphic given, the charcter Neru seems to be the NiGHTS analogue (Sega, purple, holding a feather for flight). What do you think? Are you excited? How do you think they'll portray what seems like a Hetalia'd NiGHTS?

The character Neru seems to be Nei from Phantasy Star. Seems much tougher to guess the Sega ones.

I will buy this on Blu-Ray. Such a brilliant concept.

(On a related note, I wish I had a PS3 so I could play Hyperdimension Neptuna.)
