I haven't done anything NiGHTS related in a long time, but since I did I figured I ought to share with NiGHTS fans. Here's a very short very sketchy animation of Reala drawn to the beginning of "Out of Line" by the Bravery, slightly sped up. It was animated in Toon Boom Harmony.

This is superb! I especially love Reala's eyes when he's saying "Eliza." How long have you been animating?

Great Animation. If you get better at it you could make your own NIGHTS anime fanseries. That would be epic.

Excellent job with this! I love the flip Reala does before zooming away at the end.
I checked out your other animations on your YouTube channel, too. They're awesome! I would love to see more. =)

Taking it to the next level, I suppose. Years ago I did a simple flash synced to "Burning Down the House" and here's that song again. I'd like to add more to, at least finish off the verse. I'm keeping this version unlisted in case I do get more done this weekend.

Wow! That is fantastic. I envy your talent. =)
NiGHTS and Reala are so expressive and their movement is beautifully smooth and fluid. I especially appreciate NiGHTS' floaty movement from 0:03-0:05. It's perfect. Also, their hats! I love the way the tails (horns?) on the hats move. They're not too lightweight and wiggly, but not too stiff or anything either. They move exactly how I would expect them to. Your timing with the lip-sync is spot-on, too.
Beautiful work! You clearly put a ton of effort into your animations.
About how long does it usually take to make something like this? And do you just do this for fun, or are you aiming for (or maybe already have) a job related to art/animation?

You should try an animation of NIGHTS & Reala having a battle all DBZ style.

NiGHTS and Talking Heads. I think I'm in love.

I invested a third day into the 2nd half of the last video. There are parts I really like and parts I would do over, but it's time to move on to the next thing, whatever it may be.

I have watched this so many times I'm surprised the replay button isn't broken yet.
You have really done an excellent job on this! I look forward to seeing whatever your next project may be.

I attempted to do this a year ago with flash symbol animation but didn't get very far, so I figured I'd try the sketch approach now that I have the means. The idea was to do part of "Chilly Down" from" Labyrinth" with Claris and a group of Nightmaren. So far I only have 10 seconds out of a minute of audio. I wanted to finish before my winter break ended but it looks like that's not gonna happen. Anyways, here's something. This Reala is a little more flamboyant than the previous one. The characters aren't the right size either, I'm sure.

Once again, Mah mind is blown!
This much amazing is not healthy.
These are so great that it's actually painful how short they are! (I understand it's a good deal of work).
It's 8-17 seconds of me loosing muscle control in my face, and 30 seconds of me begging the internet gods (whom I've figured out to be Bill Gates, Mr. Peanut, and Donald Duck) for more.
Bad jokes aside... This was fantastic, I hope to see more, and you have some serious talent.
Normally, I'm much more generous with my compliments, but I am in a bit of a daze I'm afraid.

Labyrinth...Reala...amazing animations...
I'm afraid that's all you get, because I'm too impressed to properly form a compliment.

I got another couple of lines in. Not entirely loving the 24fps moving background shot, plus it gives me a headache. I did it to replace the previous version which was a little boring and I think I might use similar framing for a shot down the road. It may have been wiser on my part to thumbnail or storyboard these things first, but that takes away from the thrill of spontaneity.

28 seconds down and 28 to go. I'm glad to have finished that last part because it's been more or less in my head for over a year, the only thing I really thought about ahead of time. I even started 2 previous attempts at it back in 2010. Here's the color one. Anyways the new stuff starts at about 16/17 seconds.

I've got to ask, are you working as or to become a professional animator? Because you have more artistry in your animation than in most of what I see on TV.

I wish I was that talented to make animations. Practice I guess.
