When I heard about Level99's massive remix project, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to create something to celebrate NiGHTS' 15th Anniversary myself, but then I had an idea, not only could I make something to celebrate it, but also something to compliment Lucid Dreaming itself! It's been over a year since I first acquainted myself with the program Miku Miku Dance, but since then I've been searching all sorts of places for people willing to help me transfer videogame models over to it in order to make them dance, thankfully I came across someone willing to help me out, so I decided to let NiGHTS join the dance! http://www.you tube.com/watch?v=7tvsr0li_Gc (remove the space between you and tube ;P) Go check it out! (Unfortunately the conversion is far from complete, so anyone here skilled at using PMD Editor willing to help out is all too welcome to, the main thing is that NiGHTS only has 1 joint in each finger, where he should have 3, which means making him play his trademark flute is so far impossible)

Those who don't know about Miku Miku Dance and are curious about how to animate NiGHTS and make him/her/it dance please contact me, I'll explain it as best I can.

Here's the model link http://www.mediafire...f7t2y9w8rm3bh73 have fun with it!

It was short and simple but it was nice. And thank you for providing a link to the program. By the way, you don't have to trouble yourself with breaking up Youtube links here.

Thank you very much, I wanted to keep it simple because if I made it more complicated it, in turn, probably wouldn't have looked as good. Also you are mistaken, I didn't provide the link to the program, but rather to NiGHTS' model for the program. You can find the program here http://www.geocities...DanceE_v524.zip

As for the broken link, I wanted to be more sure that people could see the credits I gave in the description, even though I gave them at the end of the video, I dunno....

Great start of it! Keep at it, I'd like to see where you go with this.

Thanks Level99, but the intention is actually to allow other people to take it their own ways, alongside just being able to pose and animate NiGHTS himself, its quite possible, and very easy, to alter the model to create fancharacters. People who aren't very original, and just like to have NiGHTS recolors can simply change the colors of the model to create their own characters, while people with more intricate designed characters can also alter the physical shape of the model to match their characters, regardless of what they make the model look like they will still be able to animate them as I have done with NiGHTS here, as such its more or less something for the entire fanbase rather than just for a select few. I'll be making updates on this model though, since it's far from finished, I also need to learn how to create "texture-based expressions" which literally means changing NiGHTS' "drawn on mouth" to create any expression I fancy. Also, these expressions will be available with a simple movement of a slide-based control system, as with the eyes, if that makes sense. Regardless, if anyone shows up here who is well versed in the program PMD Editor (which is necessary to do all this stuff, unfortunately its Japanese) I'd greatly appreciate it if they were to help.

I also need to rip Reala's model, since there are many fans who like him more than NiGHTS.
