The other 'Youko and Scykle' dashed through the forest surrounding the Ideya Palace to try and lose Roze.

Roze hissed, forming a whip from a vine and several rose thorns spawned from her sleeve, and lashed it against some trees; they instantly fell, cut smoothly through the trunk. She gave chase, destroying trees in her way with the deadly whip, then finally snapped the pair with it.

Youko yelped, releasing Scykle, but suddenly their bodies shimmered away, revealing to be a fake as well.

[EZEKiAL]

Roze growled, clenching a rose in her fist, causing blood to run down her hand and drip to the ground below.

"You won't get away, little fox. That, I can promise."

[Aura24]

Somewhere in Nightopia far from Roze, Youko galloped her way through the area of Mystic Forest, gently carrying Scykle's unconscious body. The red kitsune then slowed down her pace and eventually came to a stop near a small pond, setting Scykle down. She then shifted back into her kitten-sized form and nuzzled Scykle to wake him up.

Scykle groaned, stirring. "Today is just not my day..."

Roze pressed her hand to a tree, and roses instantly began to grow from its surface. "Go, my children, find them...find my handsome prince."

In Mystic Forest, a single rose sprouted near the pool of water.

Youko tilted her head curiously at Scykle, then gave him a small lick on his cheek.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle looked over, confused. "Where are we...?" he asked, rubbing his head. If it weren't for Nightmarens' natural malleability, he would already be smashed to bits, all of his nonexistant bones broken.

[Aura24]

"Somewhere.. Got away from flower lady.." Youko replied, each of her tails swayed behind her.

[EZEKiAL]

"Flower lady?" Scykle asked, "Sounds freaky. I'm guess she tried to kill me?" He stopped, "Oh...wait...are YOU going to kill me...?"

[Aura24]

"..." Youko said nothing, but lower her head and lay her ears back, "...No.."

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle blinked, confused. "But...Wizeman..."

[Aura24]

"I...don't want to... kill you..." Youko said slowly, turning away.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle smiled softly. "I'm glad to hear that."

[Aura24]

Youko lowers her head further, knowing that she will suffer the consequences for disobeying Master Wizeman.

[EZEKiAL]

He patted her head. "Don't worry. We're in this together."

Roze smiled. "How cute, although, I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous." She threw a few more rose pedals into the small pool, watching Scykle and Youko's conversation through the power of her roses.

Suddenly, Youko's ears flicked, and the red kitsune lifted her head and looked about cautiously.

[EZEKiAL]

Roze appeared through the dense trees, holding a single rose.

"So lovely to see you two again!" she giggled. "Now, I'll need you both to come with me, so if you'd go ahead and kill yourselves, that'd be great."

Scykle cocked his head. "Uh...no thanks...?"

[Aura24]

Youko stood in front of Scykle protectively, growling softly, "Go away, flower witch!"

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle turned down to Youko. "Uh...Youko...?"

Roze laughed, "Oh, protecting your little boy toy, fox?" She pulled her thorny whip from her sleeve. She cracked it loudly, then started to hover toward the pair.

[Aura24]

A ripple quietly appeared on the surface of the small pond, as the glimpsing form of Coatl Quetzal lurked within the ripple in his dimension.

Youko broke her attention from Roze and looked around nervously before realizing what was nearby...

[EZEKiAL]

Roze growled. "Dammit, it's him..." She quickly fled into the sky, disappearing into the heavy forest canopy. Scykle clenched his fists.

"Get ready, Youko."

[Aura24]

Suddenly, a whirlwind erupted from the ripple on the small pond and sucked both Youko and Scykle right into the dimension in-between, trapping them.

Youko squealed, suddenly losing her ability to float due to the strange dimension, as she landed on a floating platform and nearly fell off it.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle landed on a rock near to Youko, then instantly called out. "Beast! I know you understand my words! Listen to me!"

[Aura24]

Coatl Quetzal lurked nearby through the skies of the dimension and soon entered Scykle and Youko's line of sight. Youko and the winged serpent soon locked eyes. At that moment, the red kitsune recalled the time when Coatl Quetzal was flying towards and opening his mouth to eat her. Youko winced sharply and turned away at the memory, whimpering loudly.

Seeing Youko, and lost interest in Scykle, Coatl Quetzal opened his jaws and released a piercing roar towards them.

"He's going to eat me!!" Youko cried out, trembling and paralyzed in terror.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle leaped toward the dragon, kicking it in the head with incredible velocity. He shrugged at Youko. "Heheh...guess I don't have everything under control." He picked her up, leaping from rock to rock.

[Aura24]

Coatl Quetzal grunted in pain before he flew open his jaws to release an angry scream. He pumped his wings, pursuing Scykle and Youko through the strange dimension.

[EZEKiAL]

"Son of a bitch, this guy's fast!" Scykle grunted, having to jump faster to stay away from the dragon's maw. "Any ideas?"

[Aura24]

"Uh...run faster...?!" Youko yelped nervously.

As Coatl Quetzal saw Scykle leap across the floating rocks, it took the oppurtunity to snag Youko away from Scykle's arms while he was jumping, before flying far from the Nightmaren, gently carrying the squirming fox towards the distance quickly...

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle skidded to a stop on a rock, turning around to look at the dragon. "Ugh, c'mon!" He started after Coatl Quetzal, his legs starting to get tired.

[Aura24]

Suddenly, Youko climbed up to Scykle's shoulder and shook her head. "Oooh, that was close!" She sighed.

The 'Youko' Coatl Quetzal was carrying shimmered away into nothingness, revealing nothing more than a copy of the red kitsune and causing the winged serpent to hiss loudly in shock before flying about in search of Youko.

[EZEKiAL]

"YOU DIRTY MUTT!" Scykle screamed as the dragon darted back toward him, making him skid to yet another stop and rocket off in the opposite direction. He was relieved to see she was alright, though.

[Aura24]

Youko held onto Scykle for dear life.

Coatl Quetzal flew after Scykle and Youko, screeching out loudly in fury.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle suddenly mistimed a jump, and stumbled into the abyss. He hoped he could fall faster than the dragon could fly...

[Aura24]

Youko squealed loudly, clutching Scykle's head as best as she could.

Coatl Quetzal screeched and doved after Scykle, slithering above him and was steadily catching up.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle glared up at the dragon, and quickly flung Youko up into his mouth. He growled. "I'm done!"

He held the real Youko in his collar, safe from the the dragon's fangs.

[Aura24]

Coatl Quetzal quickly caught 'Youko', being carefully not to inflict injury on her before flying up away from Scykle.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle pondered why exactly he hadn't hurt the tiny fox, but then moved on to when he was going to hit the bottom of this dimension. He faced what he assumed was down, then pointed himself into a straight line, to increase the speed of his falling.

[Aura24]

Youko squirmed her head out of Scykle's collar, having been hidden by him to hide from Coatl Quetzal. She looked ahead, whining softly as they continued to fall.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle suddenly found himself rushing toward a mirror; on the other side were rolling, snowy hills.

The Nightmaren braced himself, cramming the tiny fox into his collar again, the shattered through the glass into the frozen hills of Frozen Bell.
