Far beyond the bonds of Mare and Nightopia rests a world that hangs in the balance.
It has been called many things; ProtoScape, InBetween, The Miasma, yet it has always Been, even before Wizeman was born.
From the mists came Seraphel, a being who is Pian nor Mare, but something entierly and utterly different. What he is no one knows, but it seems he has unlimited potential. Both sides try to control and manipulate them to their will, but he alone must make the choice of what side he will be; of what powers he will choose.
As a Nightopian, Visitor, or Maren it is your job to discover this creature and help him to unlock his mysterious powers.
But remember: Nothing from the ProtoScape is as it seems...
