So I got the game over a week ago and so far it's been quite nice. It doesn't have the art of Okami's environment or good combat controls (the main character Seto isn't a fighter by any means), but it's beautiful in its own way. It's focused more on story and experience rather than gameplay (which is why you may see so many low scores for it), but it's still wonderful to play through. I'm not sure just watching it could ever have the same effect as playing it.

Fragile Dreams is one of those games where you want to explore the environment and learn about what happened to the world to cause its end. Not caring about the characters (or the optional mementos you find lying about that flesh out the world, and there are a bunch of those) will lead to disappointment. After all, the entire game is centered around finding survivors, and not being alone. ^^

Right off the bat when you can control Seto, if you look around the observatory you will find that everything screams "Only two people ever lived here!" Let that sink in for a moment. Only two people. No visitors, no one else to speak of, just an elderly man who took care of a teenager like he was a grandchild.

Then you find out about (one of) the things you have to fight, go through a beautiful intro, see a silver-haired girl who won't stay still long enough, and meet Personal Frame, your first companion and friend.

I'm not sure what else to say about this game since I haven't gotten too far in it (although I think this review might clear things up: http://www.gamefaqs..../review-140530), I can safely say that if you go exploring you'll eventually find yourself looking straight up at the moon through a hole in a ceiling of whatever building you happen to be in.

Oh, and if you've ever played Silent Hill, you'll be getting the feeling of being there now and again just because of the circumstances Seto is put in.

Anybody else play this, hear of it, want to get it, etc.?

 • Interests:i like to play lots of videogames, and i mean A LOT.
i love to listen to music. i go everywhere with my ipod.
i love drawing....dreaming....singing..... and photoshoping. lol
I got the game ..... ( i wanna say about sometime in October of 2009).... i happend to finish it... (surprisingly).. and I think that the whole game is an "ok" game to play.
it sometimes gave me that "omfg im afraid to go in there  " feeling, but i eventually got through the game fleeing for my life in the end.
I like the characters that are in the game. My favorite is Sai. she has a great additude with Seto. Crow was cool too, but he was a pain when i first bumped into him. :) My favorite baddie would have to be the blue jellyfish. (the ones that you meet in the very beginning) I do like the fact that you can befriend cats too. only because I LOVE CATS.
I also liked the music. I can't really help not likeing the music because I love music.
I hated how the weapons that you used kept breaking and then you had to buy (or find) more. that really bothered the crud outta me. Plus some of the things that the Merchant said really disturbed me. like: "Have a nice DAAAY!!" *dies*
Though overall i really think that there should have been more adventure in it. ;)

*topic bump* Sorry

I have this game right now and am in the process of catching that crazy little rodent, Crow. All I can say about it is that it gets a 4.9/5 rating from me.

@Dark Magician - XD Crow is a pain in the rear to catch. On top of that, it's like he's trying to kill Seto. O_o It's a wallbanger of an end to that section, but it makes sense why he acted the way he did later on.

Oh, and there's a reason a bunch of fangirls ship SetoxCrow. Guaranteed, you will find out why soon enough. :3

I love this game so much.
I still listen to the soundtrack of it sometimes.
ITs one of those games where you really come to appreciate the nintendo Wii. That kind of game wouldnt exist on 360/Ps3. Not unless it was on the download networks.
