Hey everyone. Just joined the community and I've gotta say, you guys are a very impressive bunch.

I recently purchased Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing (never bothered before because of the lack of playable NiGHTS, so I waited until I could get it cheap) and I found that every time the race began I'd watch NiGHTS wave the checkered flag around and I'd often find myself still wishing he was playable. So I decided to do some research as to why such a decision was made, which of course led me to that big petition you guys were doing a long time ago, that somehow eluded my attention back then. Anyhow, I found myself so interested and absorbed by all of the efforts and passion that I ended up reading every post on the topic. And then I realized.. If such a thing could catch my interest to such an extent, then I suppose that means it's time to join the community myself.

So here I am. I'm 20 years old and have been playing video games since I was 3. Unfortunately I have never played the original game (totally support the idea of a port however,) though I have played JoD. And I have never understood why so many people dislike it. I suppose it stems from having not played the original, but I still think it's absolutely incredible nevertheless, definitely a favorite of mine. I remember being so happy every time I played it. It's quite magical.
