In the Summer of Sonic goodie bags there was an NiD15 leaflet talking about Winter of Nights 2011, and even a comic illustrating Christmas Nights stealing Sonic's thunder.

Haha! That was just TRiPPY making a little light-hearted joke with a comic strip. When she found out that Winter Of NiGHTS spells W.O.N when abbreviated she couldn't help herself but make a comic for the con bag, lol.
Sadly, there are no plans for a Winter Of NiGHTS convention ....but perhaps we may be able to sneak something NiGHTS related in to next years SoS, providing i don't get beaten up by DreadKnux and AAUK in regards to the idea's i have! XD;;;;
We shall see, eh.

Yeah, a NiGHTS con would be awesome indeed! I doubt we'd get many people turning up though, seeing as nearly 50% of the fanbase comes from America ....and we all know how lazy American's are when we ask them to save their money for a ticket over here!

Nah, in all seriousness, if i can i'll try and get a little bit of NiGHTS in at the next SoS in some shape or form but it won't be down to me of course, that'll be up to AAUK for the most part. I have an idea that i would love to do regarding NiGHTS at the con but it's something that would need to be discussed with said person.

When I saw "Winter of NiGHTS" thoughts flourished my mind of silly awesomeness coming from that. Just a group of people sitting around playing vidya gaems. Hell we could rent a a small hall. W.O.N. is catchy

- Interests:I love well-made fanart, drawings and well-written fanfics. I adore people who can be creative in a beautiful way (good artists, writers, singers etc). I like various anime shows, mostly shoujo and maho-shoujo. I also like reading books of fantasy-writers (Andre Norton, Phillip Pullman, Gart Nix etc). I like listening to rock or folk-rock music. I also love various pretty shiny things. I myself write and draw various fan things from time to time. And yes, I also love sleeping, dreaming and being lazy.
I never noticed that Winter of NiGHTS abbreviated as W.O.N. All the more credits for it =)
Funny thing is, listening to all the podcasts all over again, I kind of imagine the UK part of the fandom throwing a NiGHTS party, with, say, Japanese part of the fandom looking jealously and getting "Why, in Japan you get a PS2 port first, the storybook and the preorder toy and whatnot, now there's something only we can have!" kind of thing...
ugh, sorry, forget that =)
