I recently woke up from the most insane dream I've ever had. I just wish I had the balls to try and make it to the end. This dream was incredibly, INCREDIBLY epic!

So I'm talking on this communicator with a group of people and we are about to take down Monster Energy. No, not some made up energy company that the dream world gave to me. These guys:

So the details of the mission are a bit fuzzy but I remember that Monster was treating the people of this world incorrectly by not giving them the adequate electricity they required. Every few seconds the power would go off and then start again, over and over, like a never ending cycle.

At the beginning of this mission I'm looking over a futuristic city at night and the most noticeable thing is a huge, massive, ginormous pair of lime green arches smack dab in the middle of this dystopian metropolis. The two arches displayed green pulsing lights, that when at their brightest, a large *SHOOM!* sound could be heard and then the lights would go back down and and come back up again in a rhythmically. My guess was that this was why the power would always turn on and off for the city's residents.

I made my way towards these arches and luckily I didn't have to walk all the way there because my dream must have a fast forward feature or something (MMmm Dream DVR). When I reached this place I began walking down a long, dark bridge where the only lights to be seen were a few lights in the residential area and the approaching lights from patrol cars making their way to stop the rest of the anti-Monster rebels. Things got very Metal Gear: Splinter Cell here since I had to try my best not to be seen by one of these patrol vehicles. Some of them must have had Genome Soldier vision though because I swear I should have been spotted by a couple of those guys.

I kept making my way up further through this hellish routine of run, hide behind bridge support, run, hide behind bridge support and I finally got the last bridge support. I received an incoming transmission on my communicator from my group but I wasn't entirely familiar with how to use the device so I missed what they were saying. I raised my head to see if the coast was clear but instead, another patrol car was coming. I ducked my head behind the tall support in hopes that they hadn't seen a reflection off my glasses. The car slightly rolled past me and stopped. I was sure this was it for me but instead a person in a strange pick outfit came out and got back inside. Weird.

After they pulled off I sprang into action and I saw a few people in soccer(or football... whatever lol) uniforms charging the entrance of the Monster facility. I ran up to join them and I noticed that I too was wearing the same jersey. This led me to believe that we were pretending to be a sporting team so we could infiltrate the city and make our way over to this building and free the people of this twisted company. We came to a barricade of police-like cars that were shooting what looked like green paintballs but we didn't care, we just kept running. Two of the rebels were hit and their bodies disintegrated into a green smoke. At times it felt like I was hit as well because my legs kept feeling like something electric was hitting them but obviously I wasn't or I'd look like nothing.

So finally we get to the basement of this place and it's almost like a Mega Man level if you injected death metal into it. This place is the deadliest obstacle course of all time and I don't think I've ever had this much blood and gore in any of my dreams before. I proceed to my right until I saw a guy get grinded up by this grinding grinder thingy. So I was like, "Guess I'll just go that way." I thought it'd be a better alternative until I noticed big blades sliding across the corridor I was taking. I decided to take my chances though since it didn't look all that difficult. I ran up to the side of one of the blade and press myself firmly against it so that that other blade behind me would pass me. I got bump by the other blade's wall but I succeeded in not getting filleted. With the two walls around me I noticed a doorway I could take so I went through it.

In this place there was nothing. This was when I started getting scared because at least I could see the other challenges that awaited me but here there wasn't a thing to be afraid of which is never a good sign when you're basically in hell. So I started feeling uncomfortable but I still wanted to give it a shot but my mind must have noticed that I was losing my cool and it pulled me out of the mission and back into the real world. I tried closing my eyes to go back but that never works.

-END-

Now that that's out of the way I have a question. Is it possible to finish a previous dream adventure in another one? I seem to always have these interesting dreams but they never get finished. It's literally cliffhanger heaven in this head of mine and it's very annoying. Sick of these demos. When can I play the full game?

Once I was able to finish a dream at another time, but it usually doesn't work for me. Love the story and pictures, though!

Thank you. Don't you just wish the dreamworld had a menu screen like NiGHTS so if you got a "Night Over" you could always choose the dream again and try to beat it?

Heh. I usually "replay" the demos once in a while. Interrupted dreams...I know I completed one when I was younger, but only because I woke up then promptly went back to sleep.

Then there are the dreams that seem real, are forgotten, and they aren't remembered until something like or exactly like the dream happens where I'm like "Wait, this feels like deja vu" (cause I swear I recall at least one - no, two instances...okay, an instance and a half like that; had a split second dream that came true later on).

(Why did they both have to do with schoolwork? T_T)

Absolutely! :D

That happens to me very often. For some reason my dream are either long, drawn-out epics of short bursts of random.
