File Extraction Issues...

Seeing as the main hacking thread was mostly deleted for some odd reason, I was wondering if I could get some help with some of the file types in the JoD *.ISO.

I got the *.ISO opened in Wii-Scrubber and I'm able to get all the files that i know out
but I have some issues reading and locating some of them.

- *.ADX (Sound and Music) are Easy to tell what they are but they have horrible static (I think they started to use a slightly different encoding) and i can only play them like that in AFS Explorer (PJN_voices.afs) and this Cine-Pak ADX Player. (It says it can open Saturn. *.CPK files too which NiD has but it can't).

- *.CSB (Sound Banks) Files I got to extract with some program i used on Wii Sonic Unleashed and they have Sound effects the Header says "@UFT and a little later on <NULL>.ADPCM_WII.sfreq.nsmpl.nch.lpflg.data.header", and it says AIF, ex. "Synth_B0_NEW_B0_011A_FX_Dualize_ED_22ST_aif" (I wonder what it is... >.>), but its not the one I know of. opening them in GoldWave made some of them Slightly recognizable.

- *.ONE's I thought was Just Sonic Team being lazy and using the same Format as "Sonic Heroes/Shadow the Hedgehog", but it has...

I cut them out from the start of "bres" to the text string before the next "bres" Hex Workshop and tried to open them BrawlBox and SZS Modifier Sadly, it only worked once...

Everything in the "character" folder (*.Brmdl - Models, *.Brtex - Textures, *.Brcha - Animations) works correctly in the "Viewer v12" i got from the old thread before all her post's got deleted.

And if anyone knows, can someone list what stage is what? I'm trying to find the Textures from Bellbridge and the Boss Stages.

I'd appreciate it!

For the .ONE files you can use this extraction program that Kentilan created to extract all of the files within. You can also use this batch file that I created to extract all of the .ONE files at once (it will search each subfolder).

For the .ADX files you can use vgmstream. There may be newer versions to download if you search the web, but this one does work and I've included the necessary libraries.

For the .CSB files I think Pyrii was trying to get them to work but I'm not sure if he ever did. See this thread on the HCS Forum.

I'm not sure if we have a list of what stage is what directory, but I believe Bellbridge is stage3000, just based on some of the files I have laying around.

I believe the textures you want are in the .ONE files so you'll need to extract the brtex files first and then convert them. Do you already have the program to extract the textures?

EDIT: If you're interested in seeing the Bellbridge world as a 3d model you can download this file, which includes Kentilan's viewer and the Bellbridge world.

All so as a LATE Addition the *.One seems to be favored by Sega/Sonic Team because the first i saw that was in Sonic Heroes... then Shadow the Hedgehog.... then Sonic and the Secret rings and Black Knight... But they all seem to be Different Versions of the same format. the ones in JOD seem to be the same but the contain a Full Directory Name of Each File ensted of jsut the Files name.
