The new PokéShifter minigame is used for transferring Pokémon over from D/P/Pt/HG/SS over to Black and White, and, according to Serebii, two DSes are required. Now I have to go beg my godbrother to use his DS, as nobody else in my immediate family has one, nor do I have the money (or permission, lol) to buy another. I know there's no way around it, but I couldn't help but hold on to the slim chance that migrating would only require one DS... until now.
Anywho, it's quite like Pal Park, where you transfer 6 Pokémon at a time over to Black or White from the boxes in the 4th gen games. It appears that there is a minigame involved in recapturing the Pokémon; you "use a bow which shoots out Pokéballs to try and capture them". Also according to Serebii, there is a time limit for this game.
Source
;_; I never liked having to recapture the Pokémon that I've already obtained in a different game, and I dislike pointless minigames even more. Especially ones with a time limit. Add that to the fact that two DSes are required, and I can now say that I'm going to hate doing this. I would avoid doing it, but the sad part is that I'll probably need to use some of my previously trained Pokés in tournaments and stuff, so I'll be needing to do this. I won't enjoy it, though~

Thank goodness I got a new DS recently. I can use my horribly scratched old DS for this! Do you have a friend whose DS you could borrow?
I certainly hope so, XD. Hopefully they can tear themselves away from Call of Duty long enough to lend a DS to a friend in need. (Speaking of which, that's the ONLY game everyone plays, Call of Duty. It's fun, but... not THAT fun.)
I'll just let them know that if ever they get Black or White, I'd be willing to let them use my DS, and hopefully that'll encourage them to do the same for me~

Emonga – Flying Squirrel Pokemon. Type is Electric / Flying. Ability is Static
Gigaiasu – High Pressure Pokemon. Type is Rock. Ability is Sturdy.
Emonga could very well be that flying squirrel of a Pachirisu evo that some people have been waiting for.

Also, it seems that the whole community was royally trolled by this FAKE CoroCoro scan. Elaborate bastards at 2ch. >______>
Meh, where's my real CoroCoro... ;_;

Emonga is love. I hope it's a Pachirisu evo, but the brown looks out of place. If it still had the blue/white/yellow colour scheme I'd be more apt to see it as related to Pachirisu.

-Shikijika is a Normal / Grass-type (as revealed in the previous update) and changes its color depending on the in-game season.
-In the spring Shikijika is pink (like the official Ken Sugimori artwork), in the summer it is green, in the fall it is orange, and in the winter it is brown.
-There will be a new in-game season each month of the real year, meaning three seasons a year.
-As seen on the bottom of the scan, the color of Isshu’s terrain changes depending on the season as well.
Aaaannddd....
-Aloe is the Gym Leader of Shippou City (シッポウシティ).
-The city could be named after a religious Buddhist term for the “Seven Precious Treasures,” being Gold, Silver, Pearls, Agate, Crystal, Coral, and Lapis Lazuli. Some of these have been game namesakes to boot. It can also be named after “Cloisonne,” which is enamel work (”enamelware in which colored areas are separated by thin metal strips”). So the city may deal in religion or art (or perhaps uses the metal from that religious term for the enamel work). Considering Aloe is wearing a big apron, she might be a cloisonne ware maker. But none of this is confirmed yet of course!
-Speaking of which, an “aloe” is an African flower.

Three cycles of seasons a year. Meaning each happens three time, not each season lasts four months, right? I'm confused.-There will be a new in-game season each month of the real year, meaning three seasons a year.

Grass Monkey Pokemon
Type: Grass
Ability: Gluttony
Height: ~2ft
Weight: 23.1lbs
New Move: Acrobat (Video shows it's effect in triple battle is to attack a pokemon on the far side of it, which is not normally possible.
Also, it's base power is doubled if the pokemon isn't holding an item.)

It looks like CoroCoro has started to leak, so here are a few scans. I'll also post the link to the rumored info and Dex Listing from PokeExperto at Poke Beach. CLICK THIS LINK!
---------------------------
The Plasma guy with the eyepiece is named Geechisu.
N has a Choroneko (the Dark-type cat).
Reshiram's signature attack is Cross Fire while Zekrom's is Cross Thunder. Apparently when one Pokemon is hit by the other's attack the other's signature attack becomes more powerful.
Dento (Grass), Poddo (Fire), and Kon (Water) are the Sanyou City Gym Leaders. As stated in the previous post, the Gym specializes in Grass, Fire, and Water. Depending on the Starter Pokemon you choose, you will face the Gym Leader of the type that is stronger than you (like when you battle your rival in previous games). They will use their elemental monkeys and possibly other Pokemon of their type.
Jyanobii - Tsutarja evolution - Grass - Grass Snake Pokemon - 0.8m - 16.0kg - Overgrow
Chaobuu - Pokabu's evolution - Fire/Fighting - Fire Pig Pokemon - 1.0m - 55.5kg - Blaze
Futachimaru - Mijumaru's evolution - Water - Meditation Pokemon - 0.8m - 24.5kg - Torrent
Yanappu - Grass - Grass Monkey Pokemon - 0.6m - 10.5kg - Gluttony. It knows Acrobat.
Baoppu - Fire - High Temperature Pokemon - 0.6m - 11.0kg - Gluttony - New move called "Flame Burst" which damages nearby opponents.
Hiyappu - Water - Wave Splash Pokemon - 0.6m - 13.5kg - Gluttony - New move called "Boiling Water" which is Water-type move but can Burn.
Emonga - Electric/Flying - Flying Squirrel Pokemon - 0.4m - 5.0kg
One of Victini's attacks is named Flame Sphere and it inflicts Burn. It hits all Pokemon on the field, even your own.
Basurao - Violent Pokemon - Water - Reckless / Adaptability. Has two forms, as shown in the scan; the form you encounter depends on the version you have.
Yorterrie - Puppy Pokemon - Normal - Vital Spirit / Pick-Up. Based on a Yorkie. Has a new attack called "Cheer Up" which raises its Attack and Special Attack.
Choroneko - Bad Cat Pokemon - Dark - Limber / Acrobat
Desukaan - Coffin Pokemon - Ghost - Mummy. When attacked, the attacking Pokemon's ability is turned into Mummy as well. The Japanese for the ability sounds like "Mirror" so it's a pun because the ability keeps reflecting.
Ononokusu - Chin Horn Pokemon - Dragon - Rivalry / Mold Breaker. Has a new attack called "Dragon Tail."
Denchura - Electric Spider Pokemon - Bug/Electric - Compoundeyes / Tension. Its "Tension" ability prevents the opponent's Pokemon from eating Berries.
Doryuuzu - Earth's Core Pokemon - Ground/Steel - Sand Gun / Sand Power
Buffalon - Headbutt Cow Pokemon - Normal - Reckless / Herbivore. Knows a new attack called "Afro Break" which is a sort of Counter attack.
Dangoro - Mantle Pokemon - Rock - Sturdy. Has a new attack called "Drop Down" where it knocks Flying-types out of the sky, though it causes recoil damage.
Mebukijika - Shikijika's evolution - Season Pokemon - Normal/Grass - Herbivore / Chlorophyll. Its appearance changes with the season like its pre-evolution.
Tabunne - Healing Pokemon - Normal - Healing Heart / Regenerate. "Healing Heart" restores your partner's HP. It also knows a new attack called "Heal Beam" which heals your partners. The Chansey of this region?
Monmen - Cotton Ball Pokemon - Grass - Mischievous Heart / Pickpocket. Only available in Black.
Churine - Root Pokemon - Grass - Chlorophyll / Own Tempo. Only available in White. It has an attack called "Clear Smoke" that resets status changes.
Tamagetake - Mushroom Pokemon - Grass / Poison - Effect Spore - It's got a freakin' Poke Ball mushroom on its head. Since it looks like a Poke Ball, it surprises his opponents; that's where the "tamage" in his name comes (from "tamageru," to surprise). Obviously the Voltorb of this region.

On a lighter note, I think the weirdest new pokemon is the ice-cream one. I don't know if I'll ever get over it, but my brother is already a fan.
I haven't decided on a favorite, yet, but I like the pink weasel-ish fighting type and the fully evolved feminine-looking bug/grass type, among others. (I wish I could give real names, but I can't remember them without the pictures ^^ I also think the archeopteryx fossil pokemon was a cool idea. I didn't think of it, but now that I've seen it, it seems like it should have been obvious.
The idea of having a region with only new pokemon until after beating the Elite Four is appealing to me, but I don't like how they did it. With the staples such as Tentacool/Tentacruel and Machop/Machoke removed, they felt that they needed to replace them with similar ones. I would rather they have come up with a new "formula" so that it wouldn't be the same thing under a different name.

I'm sick of Water Pokemon Master and his everlasting drama-fest. From his near deportation in Japan to his constant bashing of PokeJungle/every other Pokemon Site,
and now this. Seriously...
But anywayz...
I'm really liking most of the designs in this Gen, it has that really fresh feeling, even to a veteran Red/Blue player. Favorites would have to be Vaivanilla (Ice-Cream Dude),
Erufuun (Sheepy-thang) and Agirudar (Ninja Bug). And surprisingly, i'm realy happy with the Legendaries too.

AND OH MY GOD THE MUSIC ;-;
It's the music that Gen 4. should have had. I often find myself turning on my DS just to hear the music from the battles play.
Competitive-wise, Gen 5 brought so many changes to the game that I can't even begin to list them here. So many of the new Pokémon are just so fun to use, and the new mind games created this generation are intense. Old players will adapt, but it may take a while since a lot of the new Pokés are quite powerful (like the Burungeru+Nattorei combo, these things are beasts) and have seen more use than a lot of the top-used Pokés from fourth gen.
Also, the still-unreleased Dream World abilities change up the game completely; if ever all of the Dream World abilities are released in-game, wifi battling will take a turn for the even more intense. Shanderaa (a new ghost/fire type with a base 145 sp. attack stat) receives Shadow Tag and incredibly many opportunities to abuse it, while Gyarados receives Overconfidence, a new ability which boosts its attack every time it KOes and opponent, just to name a couple of Pokés who get incredible boosts this gen.
Yeah, I love 5th gen.

I'm sure those of us familiar with Pokemon WFC and competitive battles understand the balance of the game better than I, but when you think about Overconfidence Gyrados on it's own, it's awfully threatening. Especially to my run-of-the-mill team, none of which IV raised.
Also, you know that weird yellow thing in the desert place? I dunno it's name, but I saw my friend battle it. He downloaded the game, but I don't have an r4 and hate emulators. Anyway, that thing. He kills every single one he encounters. Never runs. Never catches. Take a look at it's face and then read this paragraph again.
All right, i've made my post, and it consists of a semi-casual player's POV on Overconfidence Gyrados and a n00bish ambition to kill every single one of that yellow desert thing with that odd smile by my friend and me, of course, when i get the game. Intelligent posters, you can have your thread back now.

The stats are on Serebii.net, too. If I remember correctly, it was pretty good.English names have been released. Haxorus. . .with that name, he better be a broken uber
No, they've never given a pokemon a name consisting of more than one word. The whole evolution chain's names are, from the first to the highest evolved: Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle. That's it's Name Goth Tower?
Some of the names are good, and others I hate. Eelectric. I wanna say I've heard that horrible pun somewhere before. Either way, I find it unoriginal, and thus unamusing and dull. But Haxorus I think is awesome. Never thought they would put the word "haxors" anywhere in those games.

yes, it did have good attack (base 147 to be exact) could be faster though. Some of the names are good, and others I hate. Eelectric. I wanna say I've heard that horrible pun somewhere before. Also, some of the names are very unoriginal. Lets look at the gear evolutions. Kling, Klang, KlingKlang. . .
but there are some neat names, like the one dragon line. Deino, Zwielous, Hydreigon. They managed to make reference to what they look like in two ways.
Deino) yes, he's a dinosaur. but it also has Ein in the name, whch is german for one
Zwielous) Brontasourous (sorry if i butchared that spelling(along w/ that one)), and Zwei, which is german for two
Hydreigon) Hydra, just awsome, no need for explination. And Drei, which is german for three
(thank you japanese anime for teaching me the first three german numbers )
Also, on a completely different note, battle subway. It's basicly the battle tower, but they decided to get rid of all the other battle facilities. Also, pokemon battles on trains, must be nintendo's response to card games on motercycles
Also, on another completely different note, the green pokemon exclusive to white, his name is green fetus. it doesn't matter what his name is, his name is green fetus. really, look at it and it's evolution line
