So I finally downloaded the entire JoD soundtrack, and I must say that it's amazing. I did have a few thoughts, though.

  • All of Will's boss tracks have a verb (Drifting Donbalon, Cackling Chamelan, Clashing Cerberus), but most of Helen's are adjectives (Giant Girania, Bony Bomamba.)
  • The first eleven seconds of Persona no Grata sound exactly like John Carpenter's Halloween theme song.
  • In D'Force master, there's a very Michael Jackson-y "WOO!"
  • Why is the track after D'Force called "Win a Goat"? Is it supposed to be "Win a Goal"?
  • I like how Helen's intro track is "Conscience." It clarifies her motivation much more.
  • The beginning of "Queen Bella's Ball" sounds like a dying music box, like the one in Bella's stage.
  • Cowardly Custard? What?!
Your thoughts?

"Win a Goat" must be a typo because my CD version says "Goal". A pretty hilarious error to be sure. (Also, while the start of Persona non Grata and Halloween both have high-pitched piano, I don't think they sound exactly the same)

Since I haven't played JoD I'm not qualified to say too much about the soundtrack, except that I love it and it's awesome?

Baaaaa-d typo indeed. :D "Win a Goal" is strange grammar, regardless.

"Exactly" was a bit of an exaggeration on my part. The resemblance is there, though.

You must love it; it is awesome. Now go play the game.

The JoD files I got had the same typo. It still makes me laugh.

Whenever I listen to Bella's Ball hard version I always imagine Bella herself always rocking out to the song. Probably cuz NO ONE can resist rocking out to it.
