It would seem we're staying overnight again so expect amusing videos aplenty.
Here's DiGi and I's invitation. We'll be getting more details soon!
Let it be known that DiGi HATES rollercoasters! So we're gonna drag him on screaming. This shall be the funniest trip ever. More news as it happens.
SEGA we heart you!
NiGHTS flagman in ASR, now this, this year is awesome.
PS) This would be a perfect oportunity for SEGA to have 'technical dificulties' on a rollercoaster DiGi happens to be riding >_>;

I wish Sega would invite me to cool things. They loves ya, TRiPPY. DiGi, not so much. ;D

Are you going to buy the souvenir photos that they take during the ride or bring your camera on the ride? I'd love to see your faces during the roller-coasters (mostly DiGi's XD). Whatever pictures and videos you take though, I can't wait to see them. Game-themed hotel room sounds awesome.Yeah he's spooked by them, but nothing I can't fix! I will drag him on anything that looks remotely scary.
And get photos...
Lots of photos.

I can't wait for the recount when you get back, the adventures of TRiPPY & friends are always grand. It's so cool that the fans are so recognized that they get lots of swag and now vacations from SEGA. Hmm, now I'm wondering if there's a secret NiGHTS casino. Probably not, but we can dream!
Have a great trip, guys!

Which raises the question: If Sega have rebranded Spinball Whizzer into Sonic Spinball, do you think they might just rebrand Air into a NiGHTS ride? (For those who don't know, Air is a coaster where you face the floor, so it's like you're flying, and I think this one has loops as well.) Certainly possible.
Aww, I want to go to Alton Towers again. I haven't been since I was 6 or 7 years old, and I'm 16 next week.
This year would be a great year to go, what with Sonic Spinball and the new Thirteen rollercoaster opening this March, which is supposedly going to be the world's first 'Psychoaster'.
Oh yeah, TRiPPY, you know you said you're going to drag DiGi on anything that looks remotely scary? I have but one thing to say to you : Oblivion. Oh yesh. > FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE.

However, I think it's really unlikely since people like Air as it is, and Alton Towers isn't a Sega themed park, (or themed on anything else for that matter.) so maybe they'll only have one Sega themed attraction.
Which is a shame, because Air rethemed into a NiGHTS ride would be epic.

I remember i went on the corkscrew coster (the yellow one) and hurt my arms on the chest harness XD; I used to be a rollercoaster nutcase. I'm pretty big on thrill seeking stuff. The way i see it, if it cant kill you then whats the point in avoiding it!
Really want to go on 13 too but it opens later this year.

Black Hole and Thunderlooper are gone now, I think. I sh!t myself on The Haunted House, but I was 6 at the time, lol.
Ooh, ooh, do you remember that Toyland Tours ride? You go in a boat, and you go through a toy factory thing, and at the end somewhere, there's a massive Sonic figure, which taps it's foot, and there's loads of TVs playing Sonic CD. Good times.

You ever been on the Pepsi Max at Blackpool? XD that thing is fun.

Posted 01 February 2010 - 06:32 PM
As for the Pepsi Max, me, Mum, Dad, and my brother, Alex, went to holiday to Blackpool in 2004, and we got to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, found out the wristband prices were ÂŁ25 per person, and my Mum decided 'we're NOT paying for that'. So um, no, I haven't been on it. XD I'd love to go on it though. And In Fusion. That thing looks freakin' awesome.

So it's not just here. Inflation hits UK. Well, I guess I knew already that it's in other countries, too, but it's a good reminder that we Americans aren't the only ones who suffer from stupid climbing prices.25 quid? O______O whaaaat? It only cost like ÂŁ5 when i was on it.

The website says ÂŁ15 online, ÂŁ30 at the gate.25 quid? O______O whaaaat? It only cost like ÂŁ5 when i was on it.
A NiGHTScoaster would be incredible. I was just thinking about how the hard version of "Queen Bella's Ball" could be synchronized to a roller coaster.

But tell me, what's with all the people saying they hate roller coasters? I don't get it. Those things are extremely safe and have a ton of fail safes to prevent people from getting injured.
I suppose I can't really relate emotionally. To put things into perspective, I was giddy at the prospect of jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet...while my feet were dangling over the lip of the door.

LOL I'm noting the mention of Alchohol I thought SEGA was a kids (well, sonic anyway) Company XD
www You have to remember that Sonic has encouraged gambling since the second game~
Ah~ The NiGHTS pinball table~
WHY DO I LIVE IN AMERICA!!? YOu guys are getting all the coolio game stuff....

I was going to say, "Sonics’ new bedroom, eh? Mmm, kinky~" But your joke is better XDAlso very curious about the Sonic Bedroom. Honeymoon suite maybe? Fastest thing alive indeed. XD
If it's what it takes, I would send my cameras to England so you could get as much exposure of the trip as possible, but alas! I am broke. So we'll all just have to berate you into capturing as much video and picture as you can. Berate! BERATE!
Even though we can't enjoy it first hand, I'm excited for the recount by TRiPPY and DiGi! Stories about all the other events you've attended have been great, and I doubt this one will disappoint! I hope those lunch boxes they mentioned are Sonic-themed. In a few years you might be able to hock them for lots of money. Or, you know, a pony. If DiGi doesn't EAT this one >:C

Well this certainly seems like fun, I hope you two will enjoy your trip.^^ And if there's guy in a Sonic costume, you gotta take a picture of yourselves with him! :3
I second this demand. XD

People have a fear of heights. Planes seem more safer to some people than coasters(im guessing because its the safety of the walls, lol). I'm kind of scared of them too, but I really want to go on one. Alas, I have heart problems, so I can't. .__.

This sounds so cool. I wonder why they named the coaster Sonic Spinball
Because it's not technically a proper loop-de-loop roller coaster. It's a spinning one, where you sit in a circular shaped vehicle, 2 people facing one way and 2 the other. You spin, and drop, and you bounce against the sides I think. It used to be a ride called Spinball Whizzer, but they're now re-branding it to be a Sonic ride called Sonic Spinball.
