Sorry I'm a bit late, but I just haven't been bothered to write anything on this thread until now.

Anyway, OMFG YESH! I'm so very happy and ecstatic that NiGHTS is finally in this game! We should all be so proud of ourselves, that we've actually managed to change something in a video game.

This is a MASSIVE achievement, not 100% what we wanted, but as has been said before, the possibly for DLC has been raised, if anything. I still have complete faith in the campaign, and this is NOT the end.

Now, all the haters of the campaign, and NiGHTS in general, have to make do with NiGHTS in their face EVERY race they go on. I likes.

Now, they HAVE to put the NiGHTS fanbase in the credits. They just have to.

You know, now I get the weirdest images... like, NiGHTS actually acting as a sexysexy flag babe, announcing the start of every race. Or JoD dreamers somewhere among the viewers... or on the track, helping with cars... NiD dreamers being - how's that called, announcers? - shouting "Look how Big cut the corner!" or "Zombiko got a boost in speed!" or the like.
And NiGHTS drilldashig along the racers for the heck of it. Or to mock and make fun at them...
I believe that OMNiPOTENT NiGHTS would take everything from this opportunity. I mean, tecnically he's not restricted by anything and can fly about the track as he pleases)

And yes, I truly believe that would keep everything from ever forgetting NiGHTS))

It's great to see that we got noticed, and had him thrown into another game, albeit as a cameo. That's better than nothing, and at the very least our refusal to be brushed aside got us somewhere (I really should be saying "you" instead of "us" since I've been off the forums and busy with life stuff for a while now). It gives me some hope in SEGA once again...

Also the images from this thread are more than epic. Kori, Jof, Kompy, all three of you almost made me laugh out of my chair and my neighbors came in to make sure I wasn't psycho. Then they saw all the purple stuff I was looking at online and slowly backed out of the room. I also threatened to hairspray their hair purple, which probably had something to do with it...

This is good news indeed! I'm actually in a mood where I want to do my homework, then DOODLE! A rarity from me, for sure!

I wonder what kinds of animations (or hopefully even voiceovers!!) we'll get when the game ships!

I said this over at Gametrailers and I'll say it again. It's like SEGA got the biggest reality check in the world and cashed that sh!t in with the quickness.

I'm not convinced SEGA have 'woken up' just yet. From my perspective, they're in that limbo between awake and asleep. It's like someone in the company is trying to steer them in the right direction but certain aspects hold the whole team back.

The reason i say this is because for starters, we should have never of had to petition for NiGHTS to begin with. The fact we did does not fill me with hope just yet. There is a cameo now and it seems to be because of us so that does deserve some praise.

But i'm not one to stare a potential opportunity in the face and not do anything. I think after this whole ASR situation is over i'm gonna be starting up something else. Let's wait and see.

You're absolutely right Madamoiselle. This isn't over yet. As the matter of fact, I'm glad that NiGHTS is in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing. Not exactly as I have expected, but NiGHTS have a duty as a Flag Holder sounds great. If NiGHTS becomes a playable DLC, then Owl would become a referee. What do you think if that shall happen?

I just spotted a tiny tiny blurry flagman NiGHTS in one of the screenshots in the gamesmaster magazine review. Lol every screenshot of NiGHTS is blurry, he's like trying to photograph bigfoot.

In my NiGHTS spotting adventures I've found him also in the little shadow screenshot.
